| Just got back
Wakefield won 40 - 24
Just about equal at half time warringtons kicking (goals) let them down in the first half. A few trys from dummy half and near the line made wakey go 40-20 infront. We then slackened off abit and warrington rallied to make an exciting end to the game with wire targeting our right hand side defence and getting in.
A good game and as usual we pulled away in the 2nd half well done lads

| Well done.
If we (Wigan) now beat Saints and Leeds in our last two games (both at home) we will finish second.

| Well played lads, it always looked like we were going to win and there were some excellent skills on show today. Here's hoping we can hit the playoffs running.
Anyone know who the lad was on crutches at the end though? Looked like it might be ligament damage and he might miss the playoffs?
And I just had to add - that Anekin(sp?) is a hell of a player. The force is strong with him!

| Annekin is quality, very strong upper body strength and runs great lines, also looks to have a good pair of hands. I'd liken him a bit to Tommy Haughey who was a revelation at this level when at Wakey, just hope Annekin carries on growing and makes the step up that Tommy didn't manage to do.
Good overall performance again though winning the game in about a 15/20 minute period at the start of the second half, where Warrington just couldn't get any possession.
I can see why they are up though, they look a very big side and have probably bullied teams this season, and like the last 5/10 minutes they can chuck it about with the best of em. They couldn't bully our lads though who are very deserving league winners.
Will colleran again looked very good for me in a good all round performance.

was a nice steady game for them to try a few moves out, some in the second half didn't connect and resulted in a knock on but had it stuck the score line would of been more impressive,
we started the game off with a great deal of confidence

Just post rumours on forums:10084.jpg |

| Were some rested, or injured? Never saw Martin as coach either.
Fairly comfortable victory anyway.

I thought it was strapping.
Very well done. Always looked capable, as last night, of answering with interest whatever they did.
A big side Warrington, but Trin lad's hearts maybe a bit bigger. Nice to see folk stay back to give them a generous applause as they came off. That would have meant something to them.

Thought your lads played really well. But disagree totally with your comment re your lads hearts are bigger, not a fair comment, I wouldn't say it about any youngsters who put in an effort on the rugby field and put thier bodies on the line, week in and week out......Our lads played well but made to many errors in the end. But one thing no one can ever say is we lack heart....Roll on the playoffs should be some good games to look forward to...

Sorry about the interpretation there. In no way did I mean your lads had no heart, in fact every player out there proudly wore a big heart on their sleeve.
I can, however, see how my comment may have come out.
I meant what we lacked in size we made up for in heart.
Again, apologies.

Fair enough mate can now see where you are coming from....It will certainly be an interesting re match....if we come across each other again in the playoffs
