I think the reason refs are accused of being 'bent' so often is that very, very few fans are watching their own team with a view to penalties only the opposition.

the man is a complete joke. we have got a lot better refs in the lower leagues. he is an embarrassment.

The new guy that reffed the Cumbrian derby on Thursday looks half decent,And Jamie Leahy always seems to have a very good go of being the man in charge.

Also did anyone see the Thursday night game about 2 months ago as there was a kid in charge that usually runs the line for Super League matches,He's a tall thin gangley lad and that live Thursday night game he gave a near 100% perfect reffing standard,Since iv'e only seen him run the touchline on several occasions.

Wheres the bottle to let the young guns have a go otherwise nobody will ever want to take up reffing watching the few top ones in charge.

My only view Halibut gets Super League games if due to the RFL wanting the game to help out the overseas officials as well as the teams.

Think it was just a stop-gap, because Klein went to Aus with virtually no notice. Maybe Halibut was the only one who could take a summer off work (other people can empty the bins at Le McDonalds for a few months). He might be gone next year.
