Sorry, but I think that's rubbish. Its already been mentioned about picking players in their right positions - rather than picking somebody cos you think they should be in the side (see posts about Obst, Drew, Grix, Latu etc).

Drop Peterson then fine, but only for Murphy or George.

Not fit, so do we persist with Peto or give Rooney a go, agreed we should stick to players in position but in the case i just don't know.

peterson was very ineffectual today no doubt, but on the games he has played he hasn't been that bad. the issue is getting him on the field.
his injuries have made him a very poor signing thus far not his performances as such.
the thing i would say is did we really need to go to such lengths/cost to sign a winger considering our financial constraints? i said this at the time also.
however he is copping undue flak imo

He was fit today, did he make any effort to help the team? so he's missing half the time and when he's fit he goes missing.

so you saying he made no effort? there is a big difference between playing poorly and not caring which is what i assume you are implying. i dont go with that it strikes me as a lazy, easy to make criticism of a player. there was one set where he made 2 drives in 3 plays in the middle of the park, trying to get himself into the game. that doesn't strike me as the actions of someone who didn't put effort in when he could of just stayed on his wing. if your team is not playing particularly well and you are not dominating possession it can hard for forwards to get involved never mind wingers
