It would be silly to beat this drum again without some knowledge of the guy. How does he get a visa/wp?

He may be the most talented player in the world but it`s a non-starter for me. We`ve got enough home-grown muppets over here already without importing more. He only turned 20 in April and he`s already been sacked by 4 NRL clubs - twice for breaches of club discipline, then for allegedly breaking another man`s jaw, and finally after "a physical encounter with another man". This last indescretion, which led to his sacking from Melbourne Storm resulted in his arrest, no charges have yet been laid against him but the Police are still investigating. Looks highly likely that he would struggle to get a Visa to play over here anyway (unless he signed for Catalans). Thanks but no thanks!

It takes a fair few weeks for any overseas player to be 'vetted' and authorised, let alone anyone with this kind of baggage - there's no chance of him being allowed into the country for a UK team. It seems that the only route now open to us for new blood is 'wheeling and dealing' within the game.

All other things aside, the guy clearly has class looking at the video clips of him, althoug its tricky to guage the quality of the opposition.

He's definitely signed with West Tigers for next year so thats that for him for now!

Despite his baggage he now has a fifth NRL coach adjudging him to be good enough so I think we've missed a trick.
