To be honest yes, I am not saying I like what he did and I do not want any of our players to do that, but yes he lost his head we can all do that at times and he did it beacuse he was upset and felt cheated at the loss

Laying on in the tackle is something the ref controls and is up to him how long he let's it go on for where as diving is just jumping on the floor when you don't even get touched. Complete different thing. So you give your head a shake!

Football is becoming a complete joke, i think the game is fantastic but the players are pathetic. Players diving, going down after the slighest knock, Staying down when nothing is wrong, tantrums on and off the field and total dis respect for the officials.

Compare this with rugby league then our game is head and shoulders above football, unfortunatly the FA are far better at marketing football than the RFL are at marketing RL.

Agreed, rugb yplayers just get straight up the majority of the time after big hits. I would hate to see the reaction of some of the football players.

we're on the wrong end of decisions like those every week! we just accept it for what it is and get on with it. you dont see our players swearing down the sky cameras. for me, drogba is an absolute disgrace, his actions were disgusting and he ought to be severely reprimanded.

Surely laying on the tackle for any amount of time is bending the rules. I doubt it says in the rule book that players are allowed to lay on the tackled player until the ref tells him to get up.

Bending the rules is a part of the game.

Everyone remembers Lee Jackson's tap try for hull against leeds (when he hid the ball and ran downfield as the penalty kick was taken) i would personally love a wakefield player to do that and get us a try.
