Don’t think we can play “when was the last time you won anything “ top trump game with Saints or anyone to be fair.

| Simple thing is that you didn't track any London players defensively when we were attacking, which is how we got to have a man over on a number of occasions, but what i was really surprised by was how unfit a number of your players were, they looked knackered 10 minutes into the second half.
I never thought we would start the season with so comfortable a win.

Is it really that bad? It was clear to see the stand behind the sticks isn't finished. Once that's done the ground will cater for the small support we have, whilst also catering for away fans.
Theres a nice bar for people to enjoy, a bar near where the Wakey fans were sat and a new bar going in the new stand when finished
Standing along one touchline for those that like to be close to the action
The variety is endless.
What more do you need??

Quite clearly poorly prepared for this one. The whole lot of them had given up and the body language was terrible. You physically got the better of us and we couldn't recover. Absolute defensive shambles.

Let’s all see where we are in September - on today’s performance it will be you and us fighting it out - however past experience suggests we will get over this, will you?'"
Little touchy are we??? The real pleasure from yesterdays game are your posts. Have a fun week before your spanking by Saints.
Ps can we have the seats back that the fans ripped out of the stand, as we have Cas coming down in a couple of weeks and they like to sit down.
Drink responsibly, when the fun stops, stop.

| I'd no real complaints about the ground. Arrived 10 mins before k.o. and still got seated easily. Could have then sat at other end but decided to stand along touchline at top of hill for 2nd half no problems. Tidy little ground and I'd happily visit again but would hope the team join me next time.

| I'm going to add an additional factor that had always worried me, because we've seen it before with trips to London: staying in hotels.
In reality, the players just end up killing time until the game, wandering around and not particularly enjoying themselves. I think it's one of the reasons why some clubs fly into Perpignan on match day now. By the time the game comes, the players aren't in the right frame of mind.
What disappoints me is that we endlessly shoot ourselves in the foot. There was a big following yesterday and a good win would have given us momentum for next week, with crowds and money, etc. Who seriously is looking forward to next week now?

| Well we very didn't go to London yesterday, were going to ditch train tickets and match day tickets due to London telling me by email all seating was for home fans only. We took a folding seat for me and when getting to the ground there was seating for away fans! Get your act together London and give visiting fans the correct information.
I hope we find the people (not fans) who did the damage at London and throw the book at them.

Wakefield get criticised for the view at BV but, although the stand behind the sticks was indeed close to the action, the view from the front two rows was just too low down.
It's a tidy little ground if you are aiming for a few hundred fans but, it struggled to cope with a couple of thousand yesterday.
Mind you, your team played well so, I'm sure that you aren't bothered.
The facilities are a long way form either the Stoop, which was top draw and still some way behind The Hive, which was still some way off SL Standard.
I know that you have dispensation from The RFL for your facilities but, does this also come with the drop in funding that other clubs have ?
Getting back to Wakefield
I believe that we took London far too lightly and we should have gone with our absolute strongest 17 and worked harder to batter London's lighter forwards I think they call it "setting the platform".
Also, Hampshire has some great quality coming forward but as a defensive FB I'd prefer Jowitt.
It's only Saints next week so, we can rack up our first 2 league points then
However well London played and the did play well, we threw away 2 points, which we cant get back.
Really disappointing performance accross the park and only Fifita seemed to be making any metres with ball in hand.

That was the only positive part of the day, a quick & efficient service even when swamped with Trinity fans. A tad expensive though!

| Just watched CC's post match press conf. Hardly surprising that he's not a happy bunny......
His non-verbal cues gave away his frustration!
I did think that Anthony England should have started - it seemed a strange choice of forwards and I also agree with some posters who said Justin Horo should have started too.
Oh well, onwards and (hopefully) upwards!

It will be nice in the summer when that Beer Garden is open too.

I thought it was fine. I'm not sure how you'll cope when Wigan and the Hull sides attend, who tend to bring large away followings, but it's fine. Was able to get a good view and the staff were very friendly.

| Historically the Hull teams don't bring large followings to London, Wigan and Saints did at the Stoop.
The ground has hosted Wires, Leeds, Hull KR in the middle 8's in recent years without issues.
