Finn has contributed far more to Trinity's great season so far then Sam Williams.'"
I agree. Sam Williams has to offer far more in the kicking department on the field in my opinion. His in play kicking is not good enough at the minute. Finn I can almost excuse because he has been very good in other departments but an import needs to be better at doing the basics of being a halfback. Being half decent at kicking is one of those requirements.

| It wasnt so much an attack, more of an observation.
He has been good for us, but he does rarely turn opposing teams back three round on kicks.
His missed tackles last night could indicate that hes worn out. Wont he be 34 next season.
I did make a comment the other day regarding try assists about him.leading it. Those stats dont lie.
FWIW, I was expecting more from Williams as an NRL player, but just maybe he maybe starting to settle in.
I dont know if anyone saw last night that when we were struggling to get back into the game he was very vocal in trying to lift the team

Same for me. The Hadley offload was a particularly shocking decision, there were actually two Cas knock-ons in that, the fumble on the ground and a Cas player touched it previously as Hadley offloaded. How Cas got the put in at the scrum from that I don't know!
The kick obstruction when England got penalised also looked harsh at the time, not seen the replay.

| Guttes to lose that one, even though I went expecting a Cas win.
We seemed to have every 50/50 call go against us.
On the plus side, we gave Cas one hell of a dig and i their current form, we should be happy with that.
Yet another game of 2 halves and we were very unlucky not to get something from the game but, if we play like that for the rest of the season I'll be very happy.
There were some superb efforts, Tupou had one of his best games, Arona and Hadley are super consistent and we really rattled them. Also, Wood is getting better and better.
On to Widnes and hopefully back to winning ways.

| Arona must've been nailed on for MotM had we won. The guy is a machine.

| With Cas having the top slot, where do we need to finish to get the Super 8 game with them down at Belle Vue?

Hope not, not because it would be a hard game, you would challenge us at home anyway.
The view from where the Cas fans have to go is absolutely terrible.
Wheldon Road gets some stick, and rightly so, but you get a good view of the game from anywhere.

| Best team lost, silly errors gifted Cas the game. Would have been nice to knock them down a peg or 2 but makes me more confident for the Super 8's if we can stay in and around the 4.

Well of course you can get a good view anywhere of that tiny pitch. I've seen bigger amateur rugby league pitches.

| Quote: Adam_Harrison9 "Poor kicking against Leeds also cost us and Moon kicked us to death.'"
Best example of a good kicking game against us this season was Dobson in the cup game. Grix got a lot of stick for missing those high bombs, but jesus, some of them were absolutely exceptional. Towering bombs coming down with snow on them placed exactly in the gaps between players. Most frustrating kick for me yesterday was by Williams in the first half. Eden had been involved in the tackle out wide on the last play and Hardaker had come right out to the left wing and the middle of the field was vacant at the back yet Williams just put a little dink up straight to Hardaker who caught it easily and returned it about 5-10 metres. Sums our kicking game up (from all our halves too, not just Williams).

Amazing how the small pitch was never an issue when we were getting hammered every week.
Must have shrunk in the last couple of years eh?

Just rewatched the game, Fifita was onside for the drop out but wasn't anywhere near square. Here's your proof (apologies for the poor quality):
https://ibb.co/mfh64a
https://ibb.co/fbMAVF
Also, watching the kick offs again, as well as the final kickoff, Wakefield were offside after the 2nd Cas try and it's borderline after the 3rd Cas try. Interestingly, the ref did warn Wakefield on the kickoffs following the 1st and 3rd Cas try to stay onside.
For the record and to show I'm being fair, Sky only showed the Cas kickoffs after the 1st and 2nd Wakefield try and Cas are well onside. After the 3rd they were too busy showing Fifita. None of the restarts following penalty conversions were shown in full.
Anyway it was a really enjoyable game, looking forward to the next meeting in the Super 8s.

| 2 games to go, and its still up in the air
I dunno where we're gonna finish, with all the top clubs playing each other, its only gonna take one of those to brainfart with back to back loses, which looks very possible, and the door is open.
Leeds and Salford points difference look like being a factor, the Saints game looks a major factor, and all this assuming we take the 2 next week, when clubs above us look like dropping points.
Don't even start with draws, the permutations are endless, I ran out of think just on straight wins and losses.
