| Rumour has it, if you are too release Tronc to the Broncos, then Ashton Sims could well be heading the other way. A player that has lost his way a bit in recent seasons since his move to Brisbane from St George. You could do worse though!

I played with Kyle at Stanley at the start of this season, not sure he is ready for superleague yet...

I do hope not as the club has progressed well on the field over the last couple of years...........sadly it seems maybe not as positive behind the scenes?
Tronc (or his wife) want to go back home and allegedly Brisbane want him, more unfortunate circumstances then financial problems. Brough was sold because of his money troubles and resultant attitude (he can be a pain in the when he wants to be) and Huddersfield could offer what he wanted. Wakefield couldn’t.

| Would a socccer club release a star player, for nothing, because he was "homesick" and a massive club were willing to snap him straight up?!?!?
No they would milk it for everything they could, because they are a business, as are we.
Realistically, if he were to give us time to source a suitable replacement and repay his wages, fair enough!!

Yep and nothings changed on that point. Do you honestly think you were the only one who knew? The difference is that everyone else had the best interests of the club at heart and kept their mouth shut until it was more official. The glee with which you posted and have done again shows to me at least that all you're interested in is gossip and attention seeking.

| Quote: Pilchard "You obviously remember the CVA, players not being paid, every season scraping finger nails to stay above water, the volunteers of this club sweating buckets just to keep us afloat. We done 5th last year, and are in a position to accept the same this year.
Crisis. WHAT BLOODY CRISIS?. We are going thro' a transition. And out of which we will still be WTRLFC.'"
Correct, utterly pathetic over reactions especially when you consider the Newton and Tronc situation was/is beyond the clubs control and Brough is just Brough.
We have been the victims of bad luck however things change.

| well i dont think anyone (apart from the wccg) would argue you dont deserve a drink after all the hard work on the stadium front!
I dread to think what state you (and me tbf) will get in if/when planning permission comes through. Although Father Jack does spring to mind!

utter crap what I heard and I ain't putting on here,
there's so much that has happen to our club in the last two seasons anything could be said and believed,
this club thrives on being the underdog and bites the arris of our clubs on a regular basis, its time we dug of heals in again because I'm a sick as most on here, just when we get a good start to the season it all starts to look pear shaped,
we need this stadium now

| Bad Luck. Pretty unfair to Wakfield. Half way through last season Tronc could not get a decent contract in Aussie. Wakey sign him and then he has a great back half of the season at the Cowboys. He comes to Wakefield and has a great start to the season for Wakefield and Brisbane want him.
I don't think Wakefield have any chance of holding him because you can't play origan from England. Like I said, bad luck Wakefield and good luck Tronc. I still think he should honour his contract. I bet Simms is part of the deal and compared to Tronc he is going to be really disappointing. He always seems to screw up when it matters most.

| If screwing up his only problem, we can live with that.
