But its thinking small, just like the salford new stadium now being scaled down to a 15k stadium looks like where going to be playing test matches in the same 3 grounds forever.

Yes,and once upon a time Liversedge were a succesful village team, but times move on.
The game is played in the present, not in the past, achievements from 30 years ago and over count for nothing.
Take your bitterness and write to the RFL.

Or maybe realistic and cost effective.

| Quote: rovers "Your way off the mark there, dont forget fev is in Pontefract, and the large majority there follow the Rovers in fact there probably more passionate about fev than fev folk are, also Knottingley as massive rovers support as do the surrounding villages, last time we were in the top flight we averaged nearly 5 k with increased away support nowadays we could easily average 7k which would be ok in todays top flight. All i and every Rovers fan wants is the same opportunity You, Cas and KR and many more have had'"
I was always under the impression that Fev was in Fev?
Whilst I understand your bitterness regarding the RFL pulling up the drawbridge, that’s hardly Wakey’s fault.
Shouldn’t you be e-mailing Red Hall instead of detracting from a bit of good news regarding Wakefield striving to get a new ground?
Up until two seasons ago Fev did have the opportunity to get into S.L – didn’t they?

Rubbish, wearing a shirt means nothing, go to the amateur teams Olde church tavern and Chequerfield rangers and ask who they support. 98% will say Rovers, the only people in ponte that support cas or leeds are the social outcasts

The reason im on this forum and this thread is because of the statement that Fev may be sharing, i think this statement by Wakey is very miss-leading and wonder why it was added

Because supporting a different team makes you a 'social outcast' If the whole of Ponty, Knottingley and Fev support Fev, how come they only get attendances of about 1500.

| Guys we've had two warnings dished out tonight and a friendly board warning to cut out the bickering, if it continues expect more warnings and possible bans to be dished out.
Please.

I'm sure the statement, which also referred to Cas, was made to emphasize the point that this is a community stadium and, like it or not, Fev and Cas are part of the community and have a right to share the facility. You may well have games in the future where you could attract more fans than your ground could hold. If that were the case, you could stage the game in the new stadium at Stanley, if you wanted to. It won't be our ground like Belle View is/was, after all.

I work a couple of days a week in Ponte and see plenty of Fev gear.
Just wish some on here would stop the dick measuring contest. I'd love both Cas and Fev to be in SL, two local derbies two big crowds for all three clubs at the home fixture. Give me promotion and relegation anyday of the week.
Good luck to Fev in the Championship.

| I dunno, you offer the use of your potential new facility to someone and not content with a "no thanks" - they have to kick off!
Theres gratitude for you!
