Well if we don't win one you got nothing to worry about.
Little defensive...... and that's exactly what will happen when we win some.

Trinity will beat Leeds without a doubt. Rhinos have no passion or leadership. Good job we got our wins early to stave off relegation. Forget Cas, Leeds are your target to avoid relegation.

| The Giants aren’t out of it either, their results and performances under Watson have been awful for almost 2 years now. Everyone expecting Watsons quality and the standard of their playing squad to eventually come good but it just isn’t happening.

| Some much better stats from most of the forwards with the ball this time round. Much better go forward by the majority. Though for all his ‘played much better’ Proctor only carried the ball 6 times in his 50-odd minutes for 48 metres. So yes a bit better when he did have the ball but we need more than that from him.
And then there is Atoni. 22 meters at an average gain of 3. Sorry but what does he actually offer? That just isn’t good enough.
Be interesting to see what Applegarth does at halfback next week now with Gale available. I’ve always been a believer that if you play well you keep your place and Smith played very well and doesn’t deserve to be dropped really. Can’t see him leaving Lino out though. Big call to make.

Must’ve been really bad.

It was pretty much a clothesline, though he was stepped & cant complain. Been a critic of Proctors fitness, but he always tries & tonight he was immense.
Last night was winnable with a fair wind until the sending off. Good to see we can play some rugby with a fair share of the ball, tho three six against on consecutive tackles didn’t help.

Only saw the highlight of it and it appeared more around the neck/shoulder area when I stopped and slowed it. At least it didn’t appear to be straight contact with the head. Though angles weren’t great on highlights.
Can’t see him missing many if any at all with most players just hm getting fines rather than bans. Hopefully he can play vs Hull. Seems like he had a pretty good game and had found some fitness too.

I thought Whitbread was the best forward on the field, he’s a different gravy and can see him going back to the NRL if/when we go down, especially with how young he is. I wouldn’t have Atoni if we were in league 1, 22 metres in 7 carries, I think you could find someone standing on the terraces who could do better. But yet he’s still getting a game. If we play like we did against Warrington we will get some wins for sure, we were dominant in the forwards against arguably the best pack. Our speed outside is obviously lacking.

| A loss is a loss I get that ,but the lads had a right dig and played some great rugby and were right in the game until proctor was red carded . Still fearing the worst but hoping for the best in regards relegation, but still lots of teams aren’t breaking any pots and that was easily our best game so far . Getting better doesn’t equate to winning anything and we need to keep improving on a personal as well as a team level . Don’t like personally bagging players but apart from hickey I’m struggling to remember a player as poor as Atoni whether home grown or overseas , he’s just not interested and spends most of his time walking behind the play the ball with hands on hips , even proctor was having a good game until the decapitation ,and Tafua constantly takes the ball in . I’m at a loss to why his performances are so lacklustre.

In my opinion Whitbread has been our player of the season so far by a country mile, with an honourable mention to Pitts and possibly a nod to the uber versatile Liam Kay. You are spot on about Atoni though, the bloke has been nothing short of awful.

A handful of teams aren't pulling up trees but in reality only one is catchable by us and that's Cas. They need to keep losing as much as we need to start winning, if they found any sort of form it would likely mean curtains for us whatever.
