There was little between the two teams tonight until Salford managed to break through with 15 minutes to go, before adding another near the end as Leeds faded away yet again.'"
To get spanked in any way shape or form by that Leeds team is very worrying.
They stopped playing and we lifted.
They never looked in trouble that night.

| Salford were recipients of possibly a record number of 6 again decisions and Leeds being down to 12 men twice but still looked like losing until the last 10 minutes when the chickens came home to roost for the shattered Rhinos. That Tetevano guy is one dumb duck.

As probably the most outspoken member of this forum this is either an ignorant or ironic statement/comment.

As per your last post.
I’m a hugely passionate supporter of Wakefield Trinity but I also know rugby and am not blind to what is clear to see.
Wigan are poor this year as well but maybe you don’t understand the game enough to realise that either.
Poor attempt Vasty, even for you.'"
when he comments that Battye is our second best prop in the team it speaks volume about the quality we can afford to bring into the side,
I'm no different to the way vasty thinks that we should be looking higher than bottom basement but realistically on reflection seeing Salfords game against a very poor Leeds performance does earmark us to be lower than them both.
lets see what brings today, you have a clean slate Battye now show us that potential

We were 2nd best v Leeds, no doubt.
However, you have seen the team that we ad to put out ?
Leeds realised that our right edge was weak and exploited it very well.
Had we played with 2 recognised centres, we should surely have beaten them.
As for your comments about Wigan being poor, I agree. They have some rebuilding to do.
Having said that they will still finish top 4/5.

Think you need to leave off Battye now Snowie, two very good games in a row TBF.
Not a world-beater but a good Pro

I can’t see any way we finish higher than 11th.
The off-season in 2022-23 is the biggest one in a long long time as whoever comes up will be a lot better than Toulouse..assuming we win out league vs Toulouse in 2022.
On current showing sadly Toulouse and Trinity and miles behind the rest of SL.'"

yes today was error free and workman like but one good day doesn't make a summer, string some games together and I'll believe different

I asked for what I asked you to explain why you don’t think I’ve got bottle.
The fact you come in here to try get some kind of satisfaction from me after a good performance from the team speaks volumes.
Fantastic performance today and great result. I still don’t see us finishing above 10th which I think would be a great return but days like today is why it’s great to follow the club.

Ok if you insist.
You need bottle to be a fan, you can’t just bail when under pressure.
We have played six games, five of which we were highly competitive in. Yet you chose to write the team and the season off based on the ONE game we played badly. I found that disrespectful to the team.
Today proved what anyone with a decent Rugby brain would tell toe, this result was coming.
We will have a choppy season I’m sure but to dismiss us like you did based on nothing got my back up.
WP is building something at Trinity but it won’t happen overnight. All the same we have plenty of quality in our team and we are IMO on our day as good as your beloved Salford or Cas or HKR to name a few.
I hope I have the bottle to carry on backing this team and I think you should.

At what point have I not backed the team.
I’m there every week supporting. I’m also a realist though. If my prediction is right or hopefully wrong only time will tell.
This is Wakefield and I’ve been watching playing and coaching at the club and had other involvement for over 35 years. I’ve seen much bleaker times than this and I’ve never not supported the club.
I’ve watched 3 games today (off to watch the reserves now which will make it 4) and so far it’s 3 from 3 for the Wakefield based teams. I’ve spent the day in the sun enjoying a beer with other rugby people enjoying their company and celebrating the Trinity win.
Today was a great performance best we have played in a long time but we always have a couple of those through the season. Today is the type of result that has kept us in SL over the years, and it’s part or the joy of supporting the team.
The test will be to back it up in the coming weeks.
Right pint supped and heading to the ground now. Not jumping on a forum straight after the whistle blows on our best performance for quite some time trying to score points on an opinion that will only be proven or disproven come the end of the season.

| The game against Sts is showing Toulouse are no mugs. We had to work hard for this win for a reason.
