| I've been quite a moderate regarding the Chester out call, but I have to say things are even taxing my patience,
For a team to lose a lead like today's and come out defeated is inexcusable.
It's either some of the players or the coach to blame, but ultimately the buck stops with the coach.
Our style of rugby (or lack of it) has been there for all to see for the last 2-3 seasons, with the exception of a handful of games
we've been made to look second rate, lacking in attacking ideas and enthusiasm.
I really wouldn't mind losing if we were playing style of rugby league I liked but we rarely do.
Rant over. Will I renew my season ticket - probably but I don't know why the hell I will!

| Quote: TimmySmith "Were you at today’s game? He was no worse than anyone else and probably the better player in the halves. Put a fair few bombs up but no chases on the back of it, he can’t do anything about that.'"
Yes I was !
Miller is our Captain, our leader, our senior half and playmaker. He's an overseas player and I would guess one of our highest earners. I don't fault his effort but his skill levels, leadership and game management are absolutely dire.
I'm heartily fed up of the unforced errors, aimless kicking and forward passes. He appears untouchable in terms of his selection yet is consistently poor in performance. IMO he should shoulder his share of responsibility for our performances as well as the coach.
Btw .. he wouldn't be the only one I would get rid of !

Always somebody else’s fault ain’t it. He blamed the refereeing last week. Try looking closer to home Chester.

Not easier but definitely necessary or do you still think he can turn things around. We cannot sack contracted players can we or do you think this is a better option to pay them off and keep Chester.
I look forward to your reply.

He he won’t then Carter himself has let his friendship get in the way of clear thought and is no longer up to the role and should resign.
For anyone that still cares thats 12 wins in 54. We have just capitulated against a patched up side that played in Monday and who played most of the game with one halfback and no goal kicker. It is embarrassing to be a Wakefield supporter these days.'"
If Carter won't sack him, then maybe John Minards needs to grow a pair, and get rid of them both. Yes, you can't fault his loyalty, but this could quite easily cost the club immensely, if they were to lose their super league status.
Changes are needed and NOW

I was sat in the directors box today and I must say John and the board all composed themselves very well, to sit there and watch the absolute tripe we put out for 60 minutes with no outbursts was applaudable.

| We all know nothing is going to change so we have to hope that either there is no relegation or Leigh don’t win 5 games. The problem if we survive then next season is completely different because there definitely will be the former.
I actually find it quite disturbing that they can watch that performance without any reaction.

Really !!!!
Then they either dont care about the club, because if they did they would not be able to hide their emotions.
Either that or they are just as clueless as Chester and cant recognise crap when it's right infront of them

| There have been many occasions when there would have been hundreds of fans outside the offices of a football club of one type or another demanding the removal of an inadequate coach, chairman or whatever for the sake of the good of the club. I think they call it people power. I'll say no more.

Carter is a football man, and not a rugby man, and doesn't even come from Wakefield. I really don't think he is a fan of the club, as such.
Maybe, since moving over to CEO, his interest in the club and its people, has waned

I think that might be harsh, to question someone’s loyalty to the club when countless hours and funds have been thrown at the club to keep us a float. If what you have said is true then I can only applaud him more for his efforts to a team that would really have no value to him.
He really needs to make the right call here though.

Quite the opposite. Carter has got too involved. He has got too close to coaching staff and players. I have had it described to me he his living the dream by playing fantasy super league manager but in real life.
He has admitted in the past he has little knowledge of RL but yet he is influencing signings and rugby stuff and making huge mistakes. Players are being treated like mates and given contracts on friendship and emotion. I dont think he will change he is too stubborn. The remaining directors need to grow a pair, together they have the majority share holding. If Carter wont change, then out vote him and hope he sees sense, stands back and sees the damage he is doing.

| I have just seen the tries, the second one by them must be the most comical failure seen in many years. He goes to pick the ball up short of the line and then kicks it into the scoring area. The rest were just the usual standard overlapping tries we concede every week.
