Never read anything anywhere about your coaching credentials who have you coached then?, maybe having a lad what plays for the club elevates you to the status where you think you know more than an ordinary supporter.

| I think if your being kind to the coaching team - Hampshire’s not fit , linos carrying an injury jowitt , (allegedly) battye wood are actually out due to soft tissue injuries - so with exception of miller and westerman all our pivot players are struggling - personally think that’s a bit of a giraffe - we are only two weeks in after longest close season I can remember. Yet we just look exactly like the team that finished last season . Same issues of poor numbering up in defence , fading in second half etc etc tbh looks another long season ahead

He did go to Rochdale but think he's moved on from them.

Tbh I have very similar coaching credentials to Chester , least ways I have badges and haven’t won anything either lol
Ultimately it’s about trying to find the form we enjoyed when he first came 5th looks a mountain that we don’t look likely to climb any time soon.
Can’t honestly say I m looking forward to the cup game - mcolorum is back and Tomkins seems to have recaptured his early Wigan form , but this is Wakefield

In all seriousmess Kyle wood is 32 shortly so we really should be thinking of the future , crowther is only a stop gap solution probably as big a worry is how ordinary j wood looks ball in hand and how little game time he’s been getting

If you keep doing things the same way and it’s not working then change it and change it till he finds solutions. As for coaching credentials there quite good to be honest but like I said doesn’t mean I know anymore than an ordinary supporter as you put it.

Well they need to be fully fit so they can have some kind of impact

| Ler's be honest. Our survival in SL over the last few years has depended more on factors beyond our control rather than us winning matches.
Any reasonably minded adult can see that our "luck" is bound to run out sometime and if the last forty odd games are anything to go by we're not likely to achieve our future by skill, and we can't ride ride our "luck" much longer. I can't see our current "benefactors" remaining should we suffer the dreaded drop; and I doubt if we could find anyone willing to invest in a Championship club in this day and age. Therefore I see 2021 being the defining season for whether there is a future for Wakefield Trinity RLFC or not. All the more reason to get our problems, and there are many, sorted NOW!!

You can't just rewrite history to suite your argument.
We have survived in Super League exactly because of the number of games we have won.
Last year was the only year we were close and we still won 2 more games than the team below us.....and I think its fair to say that the factors beyond our control last year were working against us not for us.
I don't disagree that we have problems but lets focus on real issues rather than just making things up.

| CC stated the culture at the club had to change, players were on a warning blah blah blah. Lovely bloke, not in question. The sell by date has passed and previous close friendships look costly. Things being said to media seem poor and badly judged.
We have issues of quality at 7 and 9 and lack of fire power at 8 an 10 and once more either suspect fitness or attitude. Apart from that, no problem.
I don’t want it to be like this but seriously, most of us have seen a lot of action and are worried. You cannot just let a business stagnate and watch clients disappear and go down the tubes. Sometimes there is no option than literally throwing the balls in the air, having a clear out and taking another direction.

D1d we not "escape" relegation by virtue of the fact that the Welsh side decided that they couldn't carry on in SL?
Did we not survive relegation on the basis of an imminent "New ground" that never materialised during the franchising era?
WE may have survived SL on the basis of "Games that we have won", but conversely we've been under the threat of relegation most seasons because of the games that we have lost.
Over the twenty two seasons that we have been in SL our average finishing position is between 9th and 10th. Not even top 8.
I suppose we can take some heart in the fact that we are one of the few sides that have never actually been relegated from SL.
I wish I had your eternal optimism. PT.

| We know Carter does not want to sack Chester so why not make him the head of rugby for the balance of his contract. The post should exclude the day to day training or team selection which will be the responsibility on the new coach being that Last or someone else.

I took my level 1 coaching co in the same class as Chester. Not Chris but his dad Richard. Think we were the 2 oldest in the group. lol

I don't get your point.
You actually say yourself that we have average of 8.so we are here because we win enough games.
The Celtic thing happened 10 years ago...... You said "our survival over the last few years"....... I didn't take that as the same thing. I'm not sure anybody involved then is even at the club now.
