| Quote: Scarlet Pimpernell "I am pleased we won but sorry based on the last two seasons rather than one game I don’t think Chester is the right man for the job. I regret that waiting for next season will be too late or do you consider the victory tonight eradicates the losses and the manor of these defeats and all is now well.
I don’t need to come up with anything better that is up to Chester, but I do admire your selective memory.'"
The players clearly disagree with you.

Hampshire needs to play full back or not at all. Weak link tonight and definitely not a half back.

| Certainly did upset some so called fans . Surely those who have been hypocritical should give some credit for all concerned for the grit and determination shown tonight.
I accept that one win is , under normal circumstances, is not to be excessively celebrated, but it was not normal circumstances.
The team got behind the coach, played for the coach and won.
If you cannot celebrate that I question as to whether or not not you truly are a fan of Trinity,

After that performance from max at fullback I honestly can’t see anyone taking the jersey off him ,looked comfortable and has much more time to read the game than in the half’s ,and it showed tonight with a great performance chiming into the line and giving quality cut out passes . Best image of night for me was when miller threw himself at that big winger and came up with the ball and ended up another Johnstone try.it went up to the big screen and the slow mo of it captured Crowther’s face beaming and jumping about like a giddy kipper as if they’d won the lottery ,that for me summed up the desire and will to get this win by the team .

| The result would indecate that the team are prepared at the present moment to put a shift in for a bit of self pride and to back Chester,.
The end of the season can not come quick enough and that should be the time to sort things out.
The club still has its problems but maybe a couple of player move ons will sort things out.
I hope Chester can turn things round because it's in the interest of the club in general but I would also suggest someone within the club must have an axe to grind and that player or member of staff must be shipped out.
Anyway for the time being a united front and with the players after that graft behind Chester the fans should do the same

Hypocritical in what way?
Loved seeing the lads get a win last night, I don`t think any fans ever don`t want there team to win, they care just as much as you do and that is why they are questioning what they believe to be right and wrong, nothing wrong with that.
Yes, the players played for him last night PT, why has it taken some adversity in the media for that to happen whether the comments were true or not? Chester said himself last week that he was looking at sacking half the team, so he obviously didn't think that they had been playing for him, or was he just saying that for a laugh?
In my opinion we still looked clueless near the line though for 90% of our time in possession down there, what did it take us 8 sets down on there line to score? Huddersfield also scored at will when they go to our 20, a win cannot mask the fact that fundamentally those weaknesses are still there as they have been in loss, we are likely to be less frustrated with it as we got the 2 points which in this business is all that matters in the short term, we did a good job of being smart with the ball, won the field position battle and we completed well and we just about sneaked it, also quite clear to see that we out enthused the Hudds team which was a real positive.

What's the criteria for being a so called fan as against just being a fan?, surely a fan is a fan irrespective of his opinions

| I don’t think there’s anyone who can’t see there are still improvements to be made. Like you say the attack especially on the opposition’s line has been poor all year.
However, after getting our first win post lockdown after weeks of losing, you’d think some posters like Egg Banjo would dial down the negativity for at least a couple of days.
Facking hell, the first thing he did when the full time hooter went was moan.

| Last night is the reason why we all bitch with each other on this forum regarding all things Trinity. At the end of the day I think it is fair to say we are all united in wanting to see the team compete in games and better still win them .Lets all enjoy a good all round performance over a team that I love t see us beat. For what its worth I am sure we will also get a win against HKR on Sunday.
Last night also proved to me this squad has really under performed and is far more capable as a unit than the results of the 30 to 40 games suggest. We certainly have something to build on and the recent press battles and negative media comments may have been something that has made parties from all sides take stock. I hope we move forward from here. We must recognise there are still many short comings and many areas that need improving, both on and off the field. I just hope the club directors do what they need to do and act in the best interests of the club . Building a side that competes in every game next season starts here and now.and the effort and commitment the team showed last night is all that the supporters ask I believe.
One last point, I must congratulate the Sky team responsible for providing crowd sound effects for not playing a recording of a cow bell

What the heck does Max Jowitt have to do at FB to make people like you realise that HE is the best FB on the books? Why think you can just dump him after a performance like that, to accommodate someone you feel isn't performing at HB? IMO Hampshire had a good game and his kicking was generally good.

Have to agree about Jowitt.
The lad has done nothing other than bust a gut for the side whenever he has played and yet, seems to get kicked into the long grass at the first opportunity.
Up until Millers "ball steal" at the End, Jowitt was our MoM and was outstanding.
If he'd had a Leeds or Saints shirt on the commentary would have been showering praise galore on the lad.
Defensively outstanding and the ball out to Johnstone was better than our 2 halves have managed in the last 10 games.

| Drinking a glass of water isn't a big deal generally, however drinking a glass of water after walking in a desert for a few hours will be the best experience you've ever had. Its all relative. All is not rosy, I dont think anyone is saying it is. There are so many things to work on, our attack is so unorganised and panic ridden, our defensive reads are more often than not poor and we wilt under pressure. Our edges are badly exposed. As soon as Sezer got a knock he was ineffective and that really helped us. Never the less the effort and work rate put in deserved the two points. Losing is a habit, that win will be a confidences booster for the players to take into the next game. They may lose, but that's sport.
