Today I watched 17 players putting a shift in ,can’t fault their commitment and showed effort in bucket loads .
Well off the complete article, bombed a few tries ,but I’m sure that will come with more game time under their belts.
Plenty to be happy about with that performance and will have give the players a big boost in their confidence.
Let’s hope we can carry this effort and Commitment on into the hull game and the outcome may not be the forgone conclusion Some people are expecting .

Shame Walker couldn’t hold onto his pass , he had a clear run under the sticks . Great break ... cant remember who threw the pass ....

Yes a very good two points and really takes the pressure off going into the Hull game Friday! Going into that 1 from 4 and potentially being 1 from 5 could have been tough. We can go into that full of confidence and by the sounds of it plenty of players waiting for a chance and a real healthy competition for places!

Really good to hear fans complementing the likes of Atkins and Navarette on good games as they’ve come in for criticism from some quarters and it was good to see Miller involved in a lot of good and doing a captains job leading by example with the stick he’s been getting...it’s also worth pointing out in just four games he’s already had three different half back partners and three different players line up at left centre!

Really looking forward to Friday now...should be a belter!

Fantastic win for the boys today.
Every player put in a shift but, Jowitt was OUTSTANDING. Dropped into a slightly unfamiliar role but, just how good was he today.
Not only in the stand off role but, his defence, covering accross on the RHS was absolutely top, top drawer.

Yeah really good defence and discipline in slightly tricky conditions. Middles ran hard and the likes of Tupou, Atkins and Lyne all having good games in the backs, while Jowitt deservedly got motm at stand off, so a really good team effort for me. Walker didnt have a great game but was getting in the right positions so quite encouraging there too.

A bit off topic, but league Express shows the attendance 3,800. I know most of us on here don’t normally discuss other clubs attendances, but I certainly don’t think there was so many as that figure. Just my opinion of course, but I’m sure others on here,who attended the game may have a different opinion.

Hard to tell.
The main stand was reasonably full and both ends looked similar.
800is in each end and approaching a couple of thousand in the main stand and there's your attendance.
Approaching kick of, there must have been plenty finishing their "prawn sandwiches" though as it looked really empty in the main stand

I thought the ref yesterday especially in the first half, deserves a lot of praise. Consistently let the game flow.

Thought both teams made it easy for the ref. No cheating, no play acting ,just two teams who wanted to try and beat each other by just playing rugby .Not a great game but seen a lot worse .

I wonder where al those Salford fans were who were at Old Trafford not so long back......
