He's on 170k a year as well.

Agree Danny's defence was exceptional
He also made what could be the tackle of the season
His solo effort took down Ikahihifo in the last ten minutes stopping a near certain try
You could see it was the point where the hudds players knew it was over
Danny really is Captain fantastic !!!

He's not much better than Jowitt but without the potential.'"
I have only got round to posting on your assessment of Mamo, because I've had to read it over and over again, to make sure you were serious?
Not only does it seem you are deadly serious but you believe what you've wrote.
Would you like to elaborate on how Mamo is a 'mercenary'?
Which English player's path he is blocking?
After all you should know, you can't judge a player after 4 matches!

Hampshire has the devils own job to get a spot at the moment. Both Wood and Randall are better at 9 by some way imho though I have not seen enough of Randell to be definitive on that.
At HB he's far closer however Miller is entering his pomp and Finn shows no sign of slowing down. It will take an injury to dislodge one of those two so if it comes Hampshire will need to play the Rugby of his life because it will be a small window of oppertunity (hopefully).'"
I don’t know if it’s come from the player himself or those around him, but there’s a perception that he only wants to play half back. Like you say, he’s currently third in the pecking order in my opinion, and he doesn’t come across as the kind of person who has the patience to wait around for Finn to retire. So when his chance comes, he has to take it. A good position for the club to be in.

You're entitled to your opinion - not sure why you're so bothered but that's your problem.

Ha, ha, classic, I'm surprised you haven't publicly tried to ridicule me for having a different opinion to yourself, because you generally do when anyone steps out of the 'everyone should agree with vastman' line.

No idea what I've done to upset you. I'm not right bothered to be honest so get it out of your system if it helps.

Maybe admitting that your opinion on Mamo is wildly off the mark?

| The thing about opinions is, they're never wrong, an opinion is just that, not fact but an opinion.
You don't have to agree with it and your opinion maybe at the opposite side of the spectrum, but to ridicule an opinion with out an opposing one seems a little futile.
I'm certainly not sticking up for Vasty and maybe the word "mercenary" is a little strong, but I can see where he's coming from.
Up until Hudds try I wasn't even sure Mamo was playing and I said to my lad when Mamo got tackled just short of the line "is that his first touch" which kinda begs the question, is there a young English FB that could have performed as well as Mamo in that game, I reckon there probably is

But it's not, I think he's poor value and I'm not the only one who thinks so.
Perhaps it's time you accepted opinions other than your own and were perhaps a little less hysterical.
However if it helps, your love child Mamo is not the worst I've ever seen, there better now?

| I remember that Mamo looked very dangerous last year until his injury. The Hudds coach has admitted that he has had a difficult start to the year, but if he shows some of his pre-injury form from last year, he might do okay. I'm not sure judging a player from Australia in the middle of the Beast from the East is a good way to assess potential.

| As Slugger says he has shown very good form last year so he clearly has the skills.
I'm sure the beast had something to do with it. Can't imagine Pauli Pauli found that much fun either.
However, remember how poor Barba looked when he came here and Tomkins too. They can't all be just going through a poor run. I think some credit needs to go to Chester's tactics and the tackling from the team.
