Like you say, he’s currently third in the pecking order in my opinion, and he doesn’t come across as the kind of person who has the patience to wait around for Finn to retire. The thing about opinions is, they're never wrong, an opinion is just that, not fact but an opinion.

Up until Hudds try I wasn't even sure Mamo was playing and I said to my lad when Mamo got tackled just short of the line "is that his first touch" which kinda begs the question, is there a young English FB that could have performed as well as Mamo in that game, I reckon there probably is

I remember that Mamo looked very dangerous last year until his injury. The Hudds coach has admitted that he has had a difficult start to the year, but if he shows some of his pre-injury form from last year, he might do okay. I'm not sure judging a player from Australia in the middle of the Beast from the East is a good way to assess potential.

As Slugger says he has shown very good form last year so he clearly has the skills.
