Well as Wakefield voted 66% for Brexit, she should do ok

With a snap general election now called it is good time to keep up this pressure for more transparency.

Although brought up with deep labour roots I think Jeremy Corbin is a disaster for anyone other than the far left.

Might not be a bad idea for Wakefield to turn blue for a few years especially if the back our pursuit of a new stadium.

Think Norman Hazell once got within 300 or so votes of Walter Harrison when Nationally it was Thatcher v Foot.
Maybe May v Corbin is as near as we've had since?

Mary Creagh is probably cacking herself. Not only did Wakefield vote massively in favour of BREXIT, only to be told by her that they'd got it wrong, but she has alienated many Labour voters by supporting the Blairite cheerleaders known as Progress (or Tory-Lite as I prefer to call them). Wakefield probably would've gone blue if the boundary changes had had time to come into effect because large parts of the south of wakefield, a VERY Tory area (Newmilledam, Pledwick etc.) would have been moved from the Hemsworth constituency into the Wakefield constituency giving the blue vote a considerable boost.

Optimism lasted for a week or so - then it's back to business as usual for the bent developer?

You just keep telling them like it is Jeremy. I still wouldn't trust Box and Yorkcourt as far as I could throw thwm.

It's only been a week, encompassing easter as well, so it's a bit early to be giving up hope yet. Box clearly said they'd be meeting later this month so i'm willing to give them until May arrives before i start shouting at them about broken promises.

Is the trust being frozen out and a deal being put together by Rodney Walker and the council, or is it just the council dragging things out as long as possible?

Openness and honesty - that's what I like about some private dealings.
