| We need to move somewhere where we are appreciated, only approx 3000 Wakefield people attend home matches and that is if we are lucky. Wakefield council hate us and work against us. Lets move to a council area where we would be welcomed and see if we can build a fan base in a new area. Despite best efforts the people of Wakefield are not interested in big enough numbers to make it worthwhile staying.

| Come on Guys
This is now the fourth failed attempt Trinity have had in getting a new stadium. Buying back Belle Vue will be the 5th. All the rest have failed so far what makes you think Box will allow this to happen. Its just a dream, even if we get it back we will never have the money to do the work that is required and one thing is for sure the ground safety people will be down like a flash to condemn everything they can.

So, what's the plan ? Give up and let Box fulfill one of his dreams ?

| Then it wouldn't be Wakefield then would it. Lets also be right, it's easy to have a go at stay away fans but what best efforts, we've had a completely miserable few years, especially last, which will have effected season tickets big time and a crap start to the year. All right, we've had a purple patch when CC took over but it's gonna take more than that. It's meant to be fun and pleasurable to watch RL, especially for non die hard fans and it's been miserable down here, apart from that recent run we went on and CC.
What we need is a proper home (easier said than done) and to keep on improving on the pitch year on year (not just a purple patch) and the Wakefield public would come out in more numbers . I was actually hoping this years performances & Cup run might have added numbers to next years season tickets but now with this talk of leaving Belle Vue, who knows.
Ateotd there's nowhere else that comes close to the potential we have in Wakefield imo. Look what's happened at other clubs when they've gone through seasons of turd and eventually come good like Warrington. Box will eventually off like all Politicians, lets just hope we out last him
I personally think you're dreaming about some fantasy land where a Council will appreciate us more & build us a stadium and thousands more come through the gate. Fact is we've got the population here, with no other sports being played but we need to catch a break on the stadium and then a competing team will look after the attendance figures. As an example look how many more Cas have watching just since Powell took over and got them up the table.

| No I don't know the answer and I don't want to allow the maggot Box to win. I am being realistic, Belle Vue is on life support and borrowed time as a stadium. Much as you all may love it and as much as you all may want to stay,it could be out of everyones control. If the RL deem it unfit that's one thing, then I suppose we could play there in the championship. If the ground safety mob close it down then its out of the clubs control. I hope I am wrong but I think the choice of staying at BV and fighting Box may be out of our hands.

| I just cannot understand why it is so dreadful to some to move to Dewsbury. Our links within the city can still be maintained . Let's emphasise even more the famous 'Trinity' brand. It certainly will not work if the doom mongers are determined it will not . I am a traditionalist and have attended Belle Vue for over 60 years , but see the Dewsbury option as a realistic and sustainable one.

| I agree with the comments about Cllr Box not wanting to help the club in any way possible, however he should have a duty for the people of Wakefield to supply a Community stadium.

| I'm no doom monger by any stretch and if it was a temporary thing, no problem but how are we going to expand our fan base on this year say, when it holds 5100 people. How would we fit the big teams in. How are we going to grow as a club and spend the cap if we're limited. We have trouble doing that practically in the middle of the City , let alone miles out of town in someone elses Stadium. Are we going to be able to earn any money like we are at Belle Vue, through corporate,Hospitality food and drink? We don't know how many fans will even bother with the move if it happens, because it sure is a downer and people may have got to the stage of enough's enough. That's not even getting into what it looks like to the RFL and the wider community. I can hear calls for merger already. Or if Cas get their stadium up and running, we might get to rent their Commuity stadium.

| Peter Box is live on BBC Radio Leeds, 'in the hot-seat' tomorrow morning, allegedly answering questions via a phone in.

| It's 5.1 miles to Dewsbury stadium and it is 4.6 to Newmarket House. If Newmarket was ever realised a little further or 5 miles. So it is hardly any further and according to AA route planner a 12 min car journey. Why not make it out permanent home? Why cannot we attract corporate side of things? Would not take much to expand capacity according to Carter. Got far better facilities already than we have. Come on let's make it work if we have to. As I said before no big deal travel wise for west side of city , or even those in city itself. True some will have further to go , but I have spent most of my supporting life travelling from outer regions of Wakefield to games.

I will never get the hours back I have spent listening to the lies and denials that come out of the mouth of Box. I am not going to bother listening to anymore.
Whats the saying? 'Actions speak louder than words'
Just look at his actions over the years that tells you all you need to know.

| What the most frustrating thing for me is while we've had 4 years waiting on every word of Sociopaths like Rodney Walker and Box the opportunities we've potentially lost. Several big developments have occurred around Wakefield in recent years each one of these should of been a chance for us to latch onto a 106 agreement. The Eastern Ring Road been one that springs to mind. As for Dewsbury, it's not a realistic option and I suspect all at club know this and are just using it as a negotiating position to put pressure on the seller. The trouble been we already played that card last year. Basically the Council and YCP have put us in it bigtime.

| Feel free to ask him questions about the development; he'll repeat the dismissive lies he used last time - "nothing to do with us, it's an arrangement between the Club and the Developer." Which it isn't.
Legal challenge is probably all that remains, but that's expensive.

| I think Mick Carter Believes waiting for Yorkcourt to cough up is like waiting for Goddo , It will never happen.
As for buying back Belle Vue , if I could get Odds, I would put money on that an 'acceptable offer' to the ban has not been made. The place is for sale, if you have the money its yours, why else would the bank hold out ?

| The location itself would not put me off, hiwever the wider perception could be damaging long term. We barely get the support at BV. Give people an excuse to not watch and they will take it. A move out of the district, all be it marginally, would see crowds drop further.
Look how well nomad clubs get on in sport? That will give an indication to what's in store, especially for a regime who won't spend money on promotion of the club.
It sounds like we don't have much of a choice but as a club we certainly won't prosper playing out of Dewsbury.
