Cheers. It wasn't clear at all on the radio because as soon as they said Moore had flown at Ah Wan, obviously looking for the big hit, it all kicked off and that seemed to take the conversation away from what happened before.

| From the highlights, Ah Van lifted the legs of Gibson and he landed on his shoulder. Can't tell where Moore caught Ah Van from that clip, with it being from behind but it didn't look as bad as they made out. Then Heremaia was sent for launching punches on Moore while Moore was on his back, after the initial pushing & shoving stopped. Bring back the biff eh......

| First of all, wonderful win and a vital one at that to finish in the top 8. Also, so pleasing that we can win a game in such a scrap. That said, I really don't think Ah Van's initial on tackle was worthy of a sin bin. I that was a Wakefield player I'd have been fuming. It was a cracking hit. I can see why the ref thought it was foul play, the legs did very briefly go above the head, but a sin bin? I'm not so sure. As for the Moore and Heremaia scuffle, it was hard to tell what really happened.
But who cares. We got the two points. Hopefully Bill Tupou is back next week after the injury to Gibson. To concede just 16 points away to Widnes is also a result. Looking at their team the only player they had missing of real note was Brown.

| He was binned because he tipped him up and drove him into ground. Lifting hips higher than head is dangerous as that tackle proved.
Hermia took offence to Moore running in after that tackle and went looking for him. He should more of a ban than Moore as instigator but I reckon they'll get same. A good lawyer would get Moore off.

| Great fighting spirit and some good scrambling defence. Of max Jowitt doesn't get young super league player of the year there's something terribly amiss. Johnstone gets a lot of plaudits and I really do rate him but some of the stuff max does is way beyond his years. Made it tough by not completing sets for fun in the second half and the right edge in defence was a problem area again. However every single player dig in until the bitter end. Hall was good defensively I thought but in the first half couldn't seem to catch a cold never mind a ball but he latched on to the vital one. Finns pressure kick was out of the top drawer to win the game, I've seen many a player bottle those. There'll be some battered bodies and heads tomorrow, widnes play hard and pretty close to the edge, often overstepping the mark. One final point don't their fans moan a lot never heard as many boos at a game in my life.

The tackle on Ah Van was a legitimate tackle with Cobb indicating that it was across the chest. Ah Van had taken the ball in looking for a bit of retribution for spending 10 mins in the bin. Sadly for him he came off the worst. It all kicked off from there.
Moore must have been sent off for punching as the indication from Cobb was that the tackle was good.

| Felt a bit for Moore in that scrap.
He was on the floor with several bodies in top of him.
At the end of the day what's he supposed to do.
I've heard of taking one for the team but there he took several

Watch the clip again, Moore's left hand/arm goes straight into the face of Ah Van, hence the KO. Nice bit of revenge.
As for Ah Vans tackle, I don't think he meant to drive Gibson onto the ground on his neck, just slightly lost control of the tackle and rightfully sin binned.

| My take on Ah Vans tackle was. It was a good hit until he lifted and twisted Gibson through the horizontal then drove him into the ground. Should get a ban
The Moore tackle looks high and he too will prob get a ban.
Heromia twice came running in from distance the disciplinary don't like that he could get more than Moore and ah van
Well pleased with the attitude and win.

Agree about Jowitt looks like he as played the game for years and not a rookie.
We have 2 prob 3 if Crowther comes through (being a forward he might take a little longer but his attitude is the same)to build a promising future around.
But can we keep hold of them is my great worry.
