| Quote: RebelRebel "It's all about sticking plaster when you live hand-to-mouth, so to speak. But then again, if this really were about cashflow, you'd think the club would have made a much bigger song and dance about it.
We know we need money, no one can be blind enough not to see that. But we're no different to many other clubs in that respect. If the fans can do their bit to help out, in whatever way, the chances of seeing what we all want to see come to fruition are so much greater.
I've given up trying to fathom out what to believe. As far as season tickets are concerned, it doesn't affect me anyway, so I can't criticize one way or the other. All I'll say is this
Oh yeah I'm definitely getting one, £150 for a full season of SL is unreal value IMO. Considering I pay the council 8 times that amount a year to occasionally collect my rubbish and not repair potholes on my street, £150 to support Wakey for a year is a steal.

| Looks like this offer has been extended to end of month as well, instead of the initial 2 week period (according to AG interview on website) so good on them for listening. One less excuse for folk not to buy.

| Quote: "We are also getting to the point where we will be launching our season tickets in full which should bring in close to £400,000 of cash, again putting us back in a positive cash position. The offers we have for fans this year are going to be launched in the next couple of weeks, with some full payment cash discounted tickets and some ‘buy now, pay later’ options, which we hope will encourage even more people to take up membership for the 2014 season.
We’ve listened to fans feedback on the renewal period and we’re extending that opportunity to buy at the cheaper prices until the end of the month. Details of how the season ticket prices will work after that will be announced in the next week or so.'" From Andrew Glover

Yep, well done for extending the deadline, it makes sense.

Maybe its a bit more simple than that, the Sl clubs have just voted for a reduction in clubs' from the start of the 2015 season. so everybody apart from the top half a dozen clubs' will be after spending as much as they can afford and perhaps a bit more in an effort to make sure they are not relegated at the end of next season, so it makes sense really to find out just exactly how strong the club will be financially for next season and want the money up front so that they have the money available to recruit early if the right players, become available and of course have the finances in place to do this.
