Have the RFL actually been quoted saying that a team will come down...?

I can't find anything anywhere and if this is correct they may have done this knowing that they may have to expand our league.

There's plenty more from where this came from too. Just look through the old threads.

They have said on several occasions that SL will remain at 14 teams and with Widnes coming up that means one team will go.

Can't see us getting a licence but you never know. Think we need to win on saturday and keep picking up wins in the league to make the decision as tough as possible. Ironically after everything our best chance of saving ourselves now is probably results on the pitch.

On a side note it seems that the chairmen of two of the leading clubs in the championship, Leigh and Featherstone have quit in the last few days. You've got to wonder what is going on down there.

Don't think it's results that will swing it for us, though every little helps.
