I went down to the shop earlier and managed to speak with Martin although he is a very busy man at the moment (as you may have guessed), what we've decided to do is set a deadline for entry into the 'scheme', this will be 4/03/11. The deadline for payment will be the week after 11/03/11. What he has asked is if people could put off payment until after the deadline of entry, as they are extremely busy down at the club dealing with the takeover and the new restructuring of the club. As it stands we are sponsors of Stuart Howarth and will be announced on sunday as 'Fans of the spirit of 1873' or something along those lines (unsure if that's suitable but that's all we could think at the time). Payment can be made at the club shop, by the usual methods. If you could just inform them what it's for and your name/log in id. I took down a (rather shabby) handwritten letter with me, it was as it stood at around 12.30pm. I'll set a deadline of 8pm friday night for entry to give me time to re-write the list and take it down saturday. I have asked Martin if he, James and Andrew (upon final completion of list) can put all names into a hat and draw them out along with the prizes recieved. He has agreed with this and will post the results on here once complete. The club are also hoping to get a photo of us all (either before or after the Leeds game) including Andrew, James and Martin with Stuart Howarth and any other player we my sponsor. This is because they are hoping to use it as positive feedback and turn it into an article (not sure what for). Any more questions just ask them on here and i'll be more than happy to answer them (if i can).

I'd suggest that we're announced as RL Fans Forum - given the fractious relationship between the members of this board and the members of the previous club BoD, it would be a positive statement about the new owners relationship with fans.

Aside from that, great job and well done.

I was part of the initial McNally MB sponsorship, and that was how it was presented.
He got coach of the year, , we got the shirt framed, , and I presented him with it at the Xmas thing .
Then he got sacked!!!!
Somehow we got the shirt back, but not the frame.

I did think about that bren2k. Not sure how we would stand though, with advertising the 3rd party and all that stuff. Yes you can atke a cheque in but after the 4/03/11 if you could. Not sure who it's to. Just write it when you get there, i'm sure they'll tell you in the shop

I think we all are. I was fantastic being in the clubshop earlier, there's just such a buzz around the place at the minute. I that's carried into the game on Sunday it will be a phenomenal atmosphere!!!
