I reckon Andrew knows he's got the gig. I can't imagine he'd put out such a strong press release if there was the chance of it not happening? He wouldn't want to be perceived as having failed, he's not used to that scenario in business and in my opinion wouldn't risk his successful image taking a knock. He's a winner and in my opinion, is shrewdly taking two bites of the media cherry, one before and another after the event.

Having said all that, I might be wrong but I'd be surprised if I am. Time will tell.

I'm sure Andrew is taking the window of opportunity to conserve Wakefields future even if the current situation isnt very clear, I'm sure things will come to light sooner rather than later and as one window closes, another will open.

everything happens for a reason. Hopefully whoever becomes proud owners of the club will be open and honest. We need a passionate level headed team to run our club.

The main thing is that you need a club for the loyal supporters, hopefully you'll get the right man in but the whole financial situation at the club needs to be sorted going forward, you cannot afford to be in this same situation in again in 2 years time.

Ted has gambled on delivering NM and has come up short. With a different decision from Mr Pickles we would have had a completely different outlook, and even now NM is the real basis of the future of the club - as overseen by the man you seem to have such hatred for.

Communication between club and supporters is crucial, but I'll never be convinced that posting on a message board is the right way to do it. As/when tough decisions are to be made, and questioned on here, will we still get a response or go, as Rebel Rebel mentioned, all 'Chief Egg' on us and disappear.

I understand why this approach has been made, but would hope that ALL bids for the clubs are weighed up by supporters, not because one talks about being a Wildcats fan (I'd prefer any buyer to say Trinity personally, means they understand the history of the thing) on a message board to curry favour. That, for supporters, would be as amateurish as some of the stuff the last BoD did.

There have been people on here saying this is the wrong forum for me, well I would disagree. This is the best place I can see to gage a true feeling of the fans. There is also nothing that could be said on here that would put me off, I am aware of how a forum works and the consequence's of using them

I am not 'in-line' with the Richardsons, in the same way I am not a hater of them. They have openly stated that they are going to be standing down from there roles, so I don't see why there needs to be so much 'conspiracy theory' around it.

Ted and the current board HAVE worked very hard for your/our club and as far as I can see, everything they have done is for the best of the club. It may not have all worked out, but it was all started with the best intentions.

The 'tin pot millionaire' post amused me. As one of the other members pointed out, I am already a sponsor of the club, with shirt sponsorship, car stickers done and the Wildcats logo on me TV ads, I would just like to say again, me intentions are honourable. I am neither looking to throw loads of money away or take loads of money out. I am trying to do right by the club, it's staff, it's players and it's fans.

I have had a few private messages from the Supporters Trust, offering there support to me and my bid. I really do appreciate it and should I win, I will be looking to involve them in some way or another they are a great asset!

I am not going to post anything else on here now, until I have some more news.
