I think you will find that most people are respecting the shareholders - and their letters have mostly gone out today.

You only have to the shareholders who have posted, they are also asking questions, and the clubs efforts in contacting shareholders in the past is well known.
In my opinion the club should Informing everyone, they cannot afford to be discriminating with this begging bowl.

Anybody who puts a grand into this hairbrained scheme is mad. The money is to see the club through the season. £350,000 til franchise day, £500,000 til the end of the season. Come october and no franchise, bye bye wakey. If you can't see that then you probably aren't the calibre of person needed to run the club anyway.

shareholders have a right to be told firstly I have no problem with that, the club can't make statements on here, but I do expect a a statement on the club site for all fans to now within a short time

And by not putting anything in you accelerate the whole process and make the decision for the RFL.

At the moment, there is no queue of people waiting to buy the club if it does fail - which could just result in the business being broken up and liquidated.

perhaps the effort would be better put into making NM happen... then creating a new club to play in it....

I cannot see any way that Trinity will be in superleague after this year... and I have always felt that such a decision would end the life of the current wakefield club.

I think you would be mad to put £1k into the club. Whatever anyone says that is a lot of money if its not they would not be asking!

They are a limited company who have had numerous people extracting money from it for years. Those people are now asking for a cash injection.

It seems to me that anytime WTW talk about informing shareholders etc that a cash call is on the cards. They dont give a poop about their share holders and dont keep them informed about anything other than when they want money.

I honestly dont know the answers to these questions so maybe wrong but were shareholders consulted over the stadium choices, selling Belle View, New roles for staff within the club etc?

It stinks just like the last share call stank. They are playing on fans loyalty but my thoughts are we dont have the fan base to provide 500 people willing to/being able to cough up £1k.

I fear the worst and it would not suprise me one bit if the end of January was a date when the money runs out and admin happens.

Why dont we accept we are fighting a losing battle and plan to consolidate in the championship. Cas went down twice and are still here, Widnes missed out last time and have come back a lot stronger and will come up next year.

The presssure would be off and we can reduce expenditure and have more time to build a stadium. It is a hard decision to make, but if it secures our future so be it.

Not saying that this would happen or will for a moment, so dont jump down my throat.. lets say you went into administration and up popped your interested parties and bought the club then for meager amounts, The RFL couldnt kick you out as the president has been set by them, ala crusaders, Suerly this would be the preffered option AFTER all other avenues have been exhausted wouldnt it ?

At worst I suspect we will be put into admin and bought by the best party interested.

The fact that they have had to come to the fans asking for money (whilst masking the reality), and not been able to attract an investor who makes decisions like this based on the TRUE facts is the lowest thing that TED and his board could ever do!

I hope the club goes into admin and the fans buy the club such has happened with certain football teams who are now running well with no debt, with a voted board from a long list of people who wont make any money from the club and will be doing it for the success of the club, not to fund their own investment losses.
