I may have missed it but there seems to be very little mention of us getting anything by the way of compensation/a fee if tronc is gonna be allowed to leave. it's too easy for a player to turn round and say he's homesick and then him expect to be allowed to leave his contract. if he wants to leave it has to be on our terms. if he doesn't like it then tough, whats he gonna do play deliberately shiit all year? what will that do to his chances of getting another club?
unless brisbane have a wad of cash or a player to throw our way then for me it's tough, you're staying and if your missus doesn't like it then tell her to piiss off home.
For god sake we are talking about a monster of a man here where the hell are his balls!
SHANE STOP BEING A PUSSY AND AT LEAST SEE IT THROUGH UNTIL THE END OF THE SEASON WHEN WE CAN GET A REPLACEMENT(S) IN

Rumour has it, if you are too release Tronc to the Broncos, then Ashton Sims could well be heading the other way. A player that has lost his way a bit in recent seasons since his move to Brisbane from St George. You could do worse though!

Tronc (or his wife) want to go back home and allegedly Brisbane want him, more unfortunate circumstances then financial problems. Brough was sold because of his money troubles and resultant attitude (he can be a pain in the when he wants to be) and Huddersfield could offer what he wanted. Wakefield couldn’t.

Would a socccer club release a star player, for nothing, because he was "homesick" and a massive club were willing to snap him straight up?!?!?
No they would milk it for everything they could, because they are a business, as are we.
Realistically, if he were to give us time to source a suitable replacement and repay his wages, fair enough!!

The difference is that everyone else had the best interests of the club at heart and kept their mouth shut until it was more official. Correct, utterly pathetic over reactions especially when you consider the Newton and Tronc situation was/is beyond the clubs control and Brough is just Brough.
We have been the victims of bad luck however things change. |
