| I expect a much stronger challenge from Leigh this time around, they won't need much motivation to come to BV and get the win. It would be nice to get a win at home though, so our lads should be motivated by that too!

If we do manage a win though, it would be even nicer if their coach Lam came out and gave us some credit this week as there wasn't much coming our way last week.

| Think the key to the win on Friday was our completion rate that I believe was 88 % , Leigh completed at around 65 % . It looked on Friday that we had learned to be a bit more conservative with our approach. We saw our centres stepping back inside rather that pass to wingers when there was nothing on and putting them in danger of getting shoved into touch. We saw a more direct game approach from our marvellous pack that in my opinion is a match for any pack in the League, we ground out sets, we respected possession, we didn't force silly offloads. In fact our first 20 minutes was the best 20 minutes we have played. Contrast this to the losses against KR, Saints and Hull where we completed sets at 60 odd % . SL matches are a war of attrition, a battle for territory and demand patience, we were patient on Friday ( except for the silly Ciaus offload ) , we were tough and won the battle for territory and the attrition war. In short we were magnificent. Plenty to work on : left edge defence struggled against a brilliant slick Leigh right edge attack. Think as Pratt and Ollie Russel play more together that will improve. Kicking game was better but its those kicks from say half way which need to be deeper. Plus the bench was wrong on Friday : decide on your best four props for that match put two on the bench with a hooker and a second row, the three bench props on Friday meant in my opinion that we couldn't get the best use of the bench, I know that Storton and Nikatimo are injured so doesn't help and Croft may have been injured so that could very well be the reason. Don't think I have ever been happier as a Trinity fan, the effort from our boys is fabulous to see.

| Other than the first 10 minutes, I don't think there was anything in the game. As predicted the wakey pack really dominated Leigh for size and power. IMO it wasn't a 40 point game it was much tighter than the scoreline suggested which would concern me if I was wakey, I feel the win as been over-hyped.

Most people get that, and Powell said in the press conference the players felt it was the hardest 40 points they've ever played in. The score blew out with the interceptions and the last minute score, a 22-14 win may have been more representative of the game.

| Probably the 40 points we scored flattered a little but they still have to be scored. TJ took his chances exceptionally well - who knows if he hadn't taken them Leigh MAY have scored ? Oh, but they didn't did they! I really don't know why Wakefield should be concerned because we scored 40 points - I think I'd be more concerned if I was a Leigh supporter because they scored many points less ! Sour grapes me thinks. Might be closer this weekend who knows but if Leigh put 40 over Wakefield I'd like to think I was a little more gracious in defeat than some of their supporters and their coach who apparently fielded a team of 12 year olds!

| I'm not over confident because of the previous win, but I am confident based on the way we have played up to now.
More confident if Trueman plays. And hopefully Atoni

| Had a look at the ticket website and seems disappointingly a lot of seats left available in the east stand. Wonder how the rest of the ground looks. Was hoping we could get a good crowd for this.
Leigh sold 1,200 so far.

| Not on the season ticket. Likely to be a sub 5k crowd.
