| Matty Russell is clearly grounded with the ball in the field of play there, not going to get anything from the officials again

| The Avenger:
That’s a try but as soon as the VR said has that come away from the hand it wasn’t going to be overturned
I thought his hand slid off the ball before it hit the ground... No downward pressure... In parts we look good in other parts we look like we are hanging on... Communication on right edge defence needs to be better

| My word. That was surprisingly easy.
Our pack dominated. They couldn't handle Hamlin-Ulele, Vagana or Hood.
Our expansive play and slick hands was magnificent.
Wonderful!

We are looking like we got one of the best packs in S L ,Years since a pack of forwards so domineering near the opponents line with ball in hand In the spine Hood, Lino and Max went well ,did not see a lot from Trueman, or am I missing something .Got a break with the Russell try ,but the move for that try was one of the best I have seen this season .Do not let let any talk about Wires been tired from there trip to USA take any thing away from this win ,we had players out as well .Keep playing that kind of rugby and we could make the top six .

| I really enjoyed that.
Our pack wasn't always on top but they finished stronger and just wore them down.
McM was outstanding, Hood hits so hard in defense and controlled the ruck,
Right edge looked vulnerable but they got it together and plugged the issue up in the second half.
Special mention to Crofty. He repeatedly did those 1% efforts that significantly changed the game.

| Thought all the forwards stood up really well today, and laid the platform for yet another brilliant win at Warrington....Lino's disallowed try was a 50/50 call for me...Hull had an identical one given against Shudds last week, whilst we had a forward pass given against us against Saints, so things tend to balance themselves out over the season. Drinks on Powell tonight then

Drinks on Powell tonight then Wire’s second try was forward. Williams running lateral passed on the red 20 metre line. Johnson took it 2 yards over. 100% forward. Lino was a try all day. The moment the ball hit the floor there was no separation at all. The freeze frame on first contact showed Lino hand on ball and touching the floor. It should have been given a try. Completely irrelevant that it bounced after, the video ref despite seeing that viewed many other angles but none showed separation before it hit the floor. Strange decision. VR didn’t say no try due to there being separation, he didn’t overrule because it was inconclusive. Despite having an image of hand on ball and try line, again strange to me.

| To come out of our opening 4 games with 2 wins against the teams we have been up against is a big achievement. Massive credit to the team and backroom staff. Hopefully we can maintain this level of performance and have a good crack at getting into the playoffs.
Hard to pick out the best performers from that game as it was a big team performance, but Croft deserve a lot of praise for how he has started this season. Considering fans would have quite happily seen him leave before the start of last season to where he is now considering a very capable team player speaks volumes for his commitment and attitude.
I’m looking forward to maybe seeing some more fringe players against Hudds next week like Russell, Rourke, Smith and hopefully some returning players from injury like Griffin and Cozza…we might even get a surprise appearance from Rodwell? I’m not saying I’d like wholesale changes but some players definitely deserve a week off.

I can’t see us rotating players out for the Challenge Cup as it represents our best chance of silverwear this season and that would boost our IMG score.

Powell doesn't like resting players he goes with as strong as possible. This is probably the best chance of possible silverware we'll have.

| Yes it's not like we are playing an amateur team. It's a Super League team away in the cup. Strongest team plays. Preseason was the time to 'see how they go'
