Max has been arguably our best player this year. I saw his time in the championship as a time for him to reset, build his confidence back up see how he goes back in SL. Many many quality players have spent time in the championship and gone on to have a stellar career in SL. I didn’t see the game but to be beaten like that I think there will be a lot of other players who will need a kick up the backside as I’d find that scoreline unacceptable against SL opposition never mind these today.

This as been on the cards for week's ,club's now no how we play pass the ball along the line and hope Gale or Max can through out a cut out pass or a kick that bounces nice for us No plan B have said before very disappointed with the rugby we are playing We should be showing that we are a team well on its way to been a team for S L .,and I do not mind a defeat but the way we have lost today showed we are a championship team with our spine been outplayed again

if we do go up , Rodwell, Uele, Pratt,Doyle, Max are the only ones from today's team that are SL standard in my opinion. The rest need leaving behind, unfortunately some have contracts for next season

Personally I would add Pitts too
But when you add Johnstone, Trueman, Russell, McMeekan, Scott, Hall and Stortan, that makes a pretty good team so far.

I would put Pitts in the maybe list along with possibly Griff. Pitts has been outstanding but it is age that worries me. Can he go around again and more importantly can he go around again at a level of rugby that will be higher intensity and a higher level. No room for sentimentality we will have to make tough hard headed decisions if we intend to prosper in SL.

Scott and Russell are underwhelming signings to me Scott as been out on lone ,and comes to us injured looks like a player Hull wanted to get rid of. Russell does nothing to the attack that we we have not got now Trueman I will keep quiet about till I see him play Know he as had a bad injury so see if he is the same player . We have got to get rid of the old guards Hooker is a big problem .could Lino do it think he played there for is country

Luckily we have Mills and Powell that actually watch these players closely and understand the value they bring to a team.

Cam Scott was last out on loan 4 years ago, when he was 19 years old, not sure why that would be seen as a negative.

Russel has 100 SL appearances at 25 as a half back, I'm sure that probablytells you something, he was voted the player the giants fans wanted to keep most last season, getting there wagstaff trophy, that's a fan base that watch him every week and have picked him out.

Trueman is absolutely quality who's been unlucky with injuries, last time he worked under Powell he was a Great Britain international at the age of 20. Thought he was absolute quality against Wigan.

My god what a sad rant, The one thing that I can say without doubt is how much Max has toughened up this season, anyone can see that. He’s not NRL or International class but he is SL, end of. You sound unbelievably bitter.
