| Quote Prince Buster="Prince Buster"Exactly, the way that bloke treats us is shocking. There are good refs and bad refs , but Kendall has an agenda.'"
Not according to PT and his acolytes he hasn't. He just doesn't know the rules of the game well enough they say. I'll go along with Mr Beaumont on this one.

I understand his frustration but does this make any sense at all??'"

| I remember at their first game of the season, the cameras showed Robert Hicks having a drink in the box with Beaumont (Hicks is possibly a Leigh fan). Perhaps he thought he had everyone in his thrall more than they are.
He had a dummy spit. I'm sure he regretted it in the morning. They got promoted. His team has won the Challenge Cup and in the play-offs. A dream season.
Perhaps a sport that isn't decided by big money backers is fairer ....

| I don't think he will have regretted it for one moment. Personally think he likes the attention and comes across as a bit of a wide boy in my eyes. Yes decision may have gone against them but that happens every week in sport and sport is all about how to win and lose in the same manner. There are issues in all sport now with video evidence ie var, hawkeye and don't trust either of them either but that's what is and everyone as to abide them and accept.

| There is no problem with the video part of the video ref. It's the ref part. Eg the ridiculous decision to disallow our try for offside against cas, or the equally ridiculous decision to allow their first try when he clearly lost the ball.

| To be fair to refs they are human and cannot see everything , I think the issue is that they have to say try ,no try and evidence has to be conclusive to overturn which sometimes is still not that easy. Overall the correct decision is made and in reality nothing in life is 100% certain. As I said before var was supposed to end all arguments in football but they are worse decisions made now than before

| Not sure if the kick-and-clap brigade still use it these days 'cos I don't watch it but when they send a decision to the video ref the on-field ref says "Is there any reason why I can't award a try ?". Why can't we do the same as this then stops the on-field ref having to guess at a decision ??
Simples.

| To be fair it was very dodgy even though his reaction is oot. The ref gave no try for obstruction and the video ref said he could see no real obstruction and sounded like he was going to give it. Then he seemed to have a change of heart and disallowed it.
Now this is where I have the issue, when the ref gives it the video has to show clear proof and in my view there should be try/no try or video ref's call. This year we have seen many trys given and not given where it appeared to be incorrect. How does the ref in real time become a better judge than someone watching in slow mo from all angles?
We also need to clear the obstruction rule up slightly brushing against a defender is not obstruction. Also the high tackle where a player tackles the top of the arm and it bounces up in my view unless there is real dangerous contact they should go back to where the first contact was made. There are far more dangerous cannonball tackles and you can do these if your the first in the tackle and that needs looking at,
