Solid effort tonight deffo a game we should of won.but tonight wasnt put the club where they are the last four years have with poor recruitment, poor retention and poor promotion of youth.it was always going to catch up at some point....

Commiserations to all involved with Wakefield Trinity. You've defied the odds time and again over the years and without a benefactor to make the task easier.

There was a point in the season where I genuinely thought you would pull it off yet again after a run of home wins but the loss to Castleford was crucial.

It's something of a leap into the unknown with automatic promotion no longer on offer. Us Hull KR fans will be there next week in big numbers and I hope we are not waiting long for another Super League visit to your stadium.

Your last sentence sums up my feelings also. Think i need an extended break from this club at the end of the season, whether i get onboard after that remains to be seen.

It's such a shame because the club have made active choices which have driven fans away in droves. Messaged a friend who used to go to every game until recently and their response was that they didn't even realise Trinity were playing tonight. Such a shame that this is what the current owners have done to a once proud club

I'm all for promotion, relegation and golden point, I think each adds something to the game. This season we have been s****, lots of poor decisions, lots of very poor performances, we quite simply deserve to go down. Here's hoping that a clear out does us some good and we can win a fair few more matches next season.

Unbelievable all we have to do to stay up is win more than a crap Cas team and we fail. Dismally. To the do-gooders. Can you explain how two so called businessmen can let go a club legend who achieved 11 victories with a poor squad. To then release half that squad without adequate quality incoming. We will need to start negotiations with SL clubs to decide which one we can sign a dual registration agreement for them to send their players needing game time.
