He’s been playing over there all be it at a lower level but the games is taken so much more seriously over there so he’ll be in decent shape. He won’t be any less fitter than Atoni and proctor and he’ll put on far more effort and desire so it’s a win win

He's only played 3 games i think because of injuries so it will take him a while. But yes they'll definately be no lack of effort on his part. Might even get an offload or two as well now.

As said many times DAVE along with ,Miller, Arona, Tupu were 4 great overseas players ,that coverd up the shocking decisions made by Coaches on signings over the last 4 years ,and were the reason we stayed in S L .We now got a squad were 15% are not good enough, and 70% are far too old to play Rugby never mind S L. Dave will always be a legend at Wakefield. Fans will still love Dave .but it does show how shocking our recruitment of overseas and squad building as been this year ,that Dave can come over to play and not look out of place

I don't think Dave will harm his hero status whatever happens in the next few months, we literally cannot get any worse so whatever he has to offer will be an improvement

Don't really expect him to do much playing wise, but will definitely give the supporters a timely boost.Never thought I'd need to be saying this, but nice to have t'lad back.

At least he will give it a proper go and unlike most of the squad, he has the ability to win a game or, inspire others to perform.
