Pretty sure for Visa requirements players need a certain amount of appearances. NSW Cup and QLD cup players will struggle to get over as has been discussed at the forum. Even if we were able to get them over, how much would it cost to release Proctor, Atoni, Taufua and co and get them replaced with unknown quality from the other side of the world.

1. Appoint an actual Director of Rugby for the club

2. Go shopping in the other code for a couple of big units to try and build a platform for our halves to play from

3. Spend whatever is left on a strong advertising campaign

Aye he did, which is bonkers but there you go. Recruitment from over here is going to be even tougher. A decent player from the championship isn’t going to leave his job to come join potentially the worst team in SL history. We certainly aren’t going to get any help from our SL rivals either judging by the Hall deal. I can’t help but think we are truely screwed and stuck with what we have. Barring a miracle, we are down as I have literally seen nothing performance wise to contradict that.

Once the agents got wind of Wakey having cash to spend I'm sure that they would be able to find some suddenly unsettled players elsewhere.

The question is would the quality of these players actually improve our squad. Can’t see many teams releasing front line players. Quality is of an abundance already in SL
