Ashton Goulding would be a good signing in my opinion and if it’s Murphy exchange plus cash then hopefully Trinity will take it.

I’d snap their hands off if this is true. Murphy has got that star quality by the looks of it but he’s only got 2/3 of a season experience under his belt. The second season is always difficult for a rookie so who knows whether he’ll sink or swim. Indeed if true the 100k must be invested in the squad

Personally I would take the £100,000 and forget Goulding. If he is the standard we are aiming for it's time to pack in.

Disagree he’s a pretty good player and a natural fullback, something we desperately need with Max out. Has also got some versatility about him. Watson sent him out on loan in the championship last year to learn the hooking role and he’s been playing there for the giants this season coming off the bench.

I've never reckoned much to Golding as a player, but if we're bringing someone in I don't see a better option to cover Jowitt's injury who may be available.

He has a great work rate and is a bit of a positive energy.

I think he would be a very good addition given our current circumstances, the fact he can play multiple positions is a bonus too.

Murphy has done his acl so this is unlikely to happen.
I'd still take Golding on loan.
