| Quote Scarlet Pimpernell="Scarlet Pimpernell"The board make their own negativity not me. Why is it up to the fans to work it out when the club only needs to make an announcement and then everyone can plan.
I admit they have been very successful at generating interest unfortunately currently this appears to be negative. With the addition of IMG all clubs are fighting for their SL survival therefore the situation with the pitch gives them all an opportunity to get one over us.
I am not really bothered about the North Stand because this is not the area I frequent and if the team keep turning out performances like they have you may find that it will keep many others away.'"
It's quite funny that you think you are not negative.

I am disappointed but that’s the same each season. I hope that maybe we would think we survived and try to make sure we put together a squad that would look to eradicate that possibility. I regret we didn’t in fact this season we have gone into reverse and have once again failed to capitalise on our survival.
We are already scrambling to put a team out and are having to move players around to fill the gaps in certain positions. It was even suggested that we look to loan the 4th choice full back from Featherstone.
I consider you to be accepting of all things therefore please enlighten me with regards the on field positives and why our current squad strategy will be successful.

| I'm not sure I'm the guy to enlighten you
But my view is based on the fact we are only 2 games in, after playing 2 teams very likely to be in the top 4. And another one tomorrow.
There is a long way to go, so I'm prepared to wait and see before judging.
There are some unchallengable facts. We don't have as much money as we had in previous years. There is a limited player pool to choose from.
Leigh, Cas, Leeds and Huddersfield have the same number of wins as us.
The new coach has done his best to put a team together and it will take time to get it playing at its best. So I'm not raising the alarm after 2 games.

| What I will say about the upper, really feels like a missed opportunity to go back further, I get the right side has a lower roof but the rest could easily go back a few more rows, the amount of space is huge.
Yes it has great viewing angles a lot better than before but it really feels crammed in up there, I gave the first game the benefit of the doubt but tonight again it was really packed in there, when we play cas/rhinos with a big crowd i feel it will be really unsafe

Shame we couldn't go further back with the terracing but we're so used to small crowds and copious amounts of room between us that we feel claustrophobic when in something that ought to be normal. There was plenty of room so wasn't even at full capacity and the numbers are limited. It wont be a problem

I’ve been in many crowds football/rugby/gigs so that doesn’t bother me, what I’m saying is usually there is at least a bit of room to squeeze past people in there you have no chance
On that note does anyone know what the attendance was?

| There was bags of room in the lower tier, so numbers must be very restricted if that was sold out.

4,157 I think was the announcement as I left the stadium. Disappointed really, considering the Catalans game was just over 4,000. That indicates fewer trinity fan last night than for Catalans game. Friday night’s, cold dark often wet, don’t appeal to many people in Wakefield. It doesn’t appeal to me, but I can’t change the habit of a lifetime supporting Trinity, but it’s certainly getting harder.

It's almost as if a bit of pre game marketing/promotion encourages people to attend games. Who would've thought?! Conversely a 60-0 drubbing will have been a real put off for most already paid up.

| I thought the new North stand terracing was great but I go along with the consensus of most people around me that it doesn't go far enough back and is too packed making it difficult for a lot of people to see. I know that it's all down to money but even another two rows would have made it better. Not sure I want to be in there when we play Leeds or Cas.

The nature of the construction means it could go further back retrospectively, but it would be very difficult now as the building room has practically gone. The roof would likley have to be lifted too which it then begins to get very expensive, the money for this would be better spent on the North Stand lower or the Western Terrace.
As I said before, there is a limit to the numbers that can be in there, once full the over spill will go on the lower terrace. I genuinely don't see the issue.
