Awful name change, awful badge,dreadful kit. Some average players signed, players I wouldn't be overly impressed if Trinity signed them, however they have signed some at least.

Each to their own but there were 3 or 4 players announced by them yesterday i’d have been happy with in our squad. The rebrand though is about as awful as it could be.

I reckon they’ll be a better team than Toulouse were either way.

I can understand why they may want to "re brand", start of a new era and all that but, Leigh Centurians was a decent name, only let down by their playing prowess in SL.
They are certainly throwing some money around though. However, with the new system that is likely to come in, perhaps they should be investing in their academy and in chalking up some pionts towards being an A rated club ?

They will have to re-brand the Centurion Pub n'all!

Stupidity and lack of imagination.

People wax lyrical about the Bulls rebrand and true it worked to a degree, though IMO Northern was unique enough. I suppose a Bull just about fits in with the idea of a tough sport. But after that it just gets silly. Rhino's I hate, it's just crap, probably our premier big city club with a cartoon badge, yuk.

Cas have a defense in that they were calling themselves the Tigers in the late sixties I believe. It derives from the colours and I kinda get that.

But generally I hate the silly monikers, it shows what a monumental inferiority complex our game has about being Northern. I love it and I'd love is to push it to the max and be uber Northern, stuff anyone who doesn't like it.

Think Bradfords early nickname was fantastic T'old steam pigs.

Dont mind Dewsbury Rams either as natural links with Heavy Woolen area.

As far as Leeds goes , think Loiners is also good and unique, so why did they choose Rhinos

Finally Flat cappers suits Fev , that would be good as a rebrand.

Leeds Luddites has an alliterative ring to it.
