IMO Willie has earned the right to recruit his own players and have a season coaching on a level playing field, free from the handicaps of Chester’s regime.
Even if we bring in Jason Demitriou to replace him, it’s a tough call on Willie Poching'"
Maybe the players who were allegedly disgruntled with the standard of coaching took their bats home mid-season which resulted in the slump and then voiced their concerns to the B.O.D who promised to release Poching and Cummins at the end of the season, so said disgruntled individuals then started playing again ??
Pure speculation on my part obviously but it would explain why the season panned-out like it did  |

I wonder when WP was told that his contract was not going to be renewed.
If he has been sounding out players for next season which, from his interviews with the media, it seems so, then it seems a very strange decision by the BoD.
Seemingly we are even further behind with plans for next season, initially we were waiting for us to be 'safe' and now we are waiting to appoint a new coach in order to instigate squad plans.
Ah well, anyone know if they've seeded the pitch yet, has the grass started growing? We need something to look forward to.

Well all this following a down beat press release a few weeks back by Carter. makes you wonder if there has been a bust up over the stanadrd of player and money being available to Willie.
End of season and no coach in place and a considerable recruitment drive required, is not an healthy position.

Sorry but it's a Shambles, even if the club recruit a top level replacement.
CC got 3 season of terrible results and a WP gets 1 season, just don't understand this decision.
The clubs at a critical stage and this desisions totally baf8at this stage.
So is Mr Carter head of recruitment, well I for one bloody hope not.
The problem with the club is Carter it's his club and he couldn't give a stuff about the supporters. Just pay for your ticket and give him a total free hand.
Let's hope he's got a trick or two up his sleeve because if he hasn't he's just dug one hell of a hole for himself.
