No BG I wasnt , but I have seen him all this season. For all the commitment that he shows I still think he is a good team player, but I think he makes a better impact covering from the bench.

I’m more than happy for Crowther to start at LF forward next season. Think he’s been much improved and good this season. He is an out and out 13 for me who in an emergency can fill in at 9. I’m not sure he’s a second rower but that doesn’t matter as for me he starts at 13. I wasn’t convinced by Crowther last season but this year he is looking good. He has developed physically, is strong in defence and drives in well but seems to offer decent link up options.

Same here. He can play 9 but that doesn’t make him one. I’m sure he’d play anywhere but he looks a 13 to me.

I’m hoping with his versatility of playing at 9, he can become more of a ball playing 13. Our very own Victor the Inflictor.

That’s not a problem BG. That’s why we have a forum. I agree that his form this season as improved immensely.

Crowther is an excellent defender. Which is great for a starting 13.
Unfortunately he is not a great metre maker.
Personally, I'd like to spend money on a 13 that has a running game, while Crowther develops further. Like we intended when we signed Westerman.

I think Crowther is improving in his passing game and in his yard gains. I’d stick with him.

Agree you need more from a 13 than tackling .
