I think you are reading way too much into this.

Gale has played us before and managed to get on the field half fit, win the game, then not play for ages.
Wilzay was just making a joke about it that came true in a different way.
There is no conspiracy and his joke certainly didn't deserve disecting to this level.

I did not know I was dissecting anything to any level!, first of all I'm not reading too much into anything either, I could not understand wilzays post and asked him for an explanation, you then jumped in and defended his post with a half hearted explanation about it being a joke, then I simply asked if he was injured which you ignored, I then offered an explanation that he might have 2 players mixed up simple as that, whether wilzay was making a joke which fwiw I don't believe, once again you've jumped in and prolonged the question asked, and I'm afraid if anybody is guilty of dissecting his post it's your good self.

He clearly caught him but the point is he did something dangerous.

And then he made it worse by trying to pick him up when he's down injured which not only could it make an injury worse ( but not really in this case) but it incites a fight.
