Technically it was a try as it never hit the floor, the ball swapped hands but was under control when grounded.

All the same it was incredibly lucky as in truth he’d messed up.

Normally Wells is pretty fair with us but did seem a bit put out on Sunday..

I don't see anything wrong with Wells commenting on the try. It was hardly a clean cut try. If it had gone to the video ref it would have taken them ages to sort and I wouldn't put money on which way they'd go.

Bet Leeds fans were complaining when they score a try against Bradford when the Leeds player was 10 yard in front of the kicker at Magic Weekend The amount of no trys that have been given as trys against us .Think we are allowed one . Think some one should start a post about trys that were not trys.The one where we played Bradford before S L and the Bradford winger got pulled down a yard short of the line got up and started running about and the ref gave the try will take some beating

Strongly disagree here fella and for me is what’s wrong with a lot of fan bases. The rules are the rules. Sure it’s disappointing when a try is sent up to the screen and is chalked off but we should be wanting to win on merit, not on a referees mistake.

The try is given or it isn't. It wouldn't have mattered if Kelepi had stood up and said, sorry ref I think I knocked that on. Ref and VR would have made their own decision.

Seem to remember Shudds beating us a few seasons back with a try from a huge forward pass.
Swings and roundabouts and it's well overdue for us to get the benefit of an "iffy" call.

My reason for the Sky question was because my understanding is that he would need to retake control of the ball before it hits the ground. It definitely doesn’t matter now but for once we got away with it, probably because no Huddersfield player objected so the referee saw no reason to go to the video ref.it would have gone up as a try but I think based on my understanding it would have been disallowed. What do they say “it is today’s chip paper” if they used newspaper anymore.
