Some players have been told that they will not be offered a new contract until new coach is in place,
That been so how can they wait until then, it will leave them either open to cheap offer from wakefield or without a club |

I agree Hampshire should be retained but he is an individual at FB - he does not possess the qualities Max does at FB being able to link with the threequarters. He lets no-one down and would be a valuable squad member , |

Problem is Gaskell is coming in and I think he’s replacing Hampshire which is ridiculous, for the main reason that Gaskell breaks down more often than a Fiat Punto.

Have the club actually signed any real quality, are they any better than what s available at present. Hood looks the best and a hooker should have been at the top of the list.

Speed, youth, athleticism is all Hampshire. |

Arundel came in for some stick a few weeks back but that's what happens when there's no A-Team to keep up to speed, now he's settled in, he's proving to be the valuable reliable centre he always has been and needs re signing as there's nothing better out there. |

The first time Wood has had such influence in a large run of games and here we are talking of a new contract....nope.
Kay is very much a 9 in conversion and it seems he will be a good bench option at 9. He’s created more than Wood has in a handful of games than Wood has all year.
Walker has shown to be a solid if not spectacular option.
Bowes is 21 and will be 4th in line.
I completely get the sentiment side for Wood but that’s what it is. His form for over 12 months has been scratchy and non influential at best. |
