Revival?

Personally thought the coolest were the mighty Led Zeppelin who had they own plane and Rob Plant changed the look of the rock stars with is long blonde wavy hair and tight jeans if you are into that BUT most importantly they were the best in my opinion.

Pink Floyd and Led Zeppelin for me along with Black Sabbath of that period. Special mention to The Wall album

Although lyrically The Beatles were better, personally, I do prefer The Stones.

Having said that my favourite of the 60's bands was The Kinks, and also big fan of The Hollies and Fleetwood Mac.

Fleetwood Mac with the late great Peter Green the first of the real Supergroups.

Virtually all McCartneys solo stuff is vomit inducing bilge. Lennon and Denny Laine carried him.

Of course folk have their own taste,views and opinions on favorite artist/bands

Fortunate enough to have seen all these bands live. Saw the Stones on Saturday, 9th October, 1965 at Leeds Odeon. The same day as the tragic murder of schoolgirl Elsie Frost.
The Beatles appeared at The Regal Cinema on February 7th 1963, but I wasn't sufficiently interested to go see them. Saw the Four Seasons at Regal Cinema in May 1963; their first ever appearance in England and The Beach Boys at Leeds Odeon in November, 1966. Their live performance of Good Vibrations was just perfect.

Anybody got the blue prints for building a time machine???
