I was abit dubious when we signed him but he’s been very good for us in my opinion. If he doesn’t want to stay then let him go it’s as simple as that.

I'd rather keep him but if he has been offered a decent contract plus a coaching place when Powell moves to Warrington it could be a better deal that we can offer.

I had heard rumblings about this but i was under the impression it was for next season? Still, could be wrong.

If it is true and he goes we will not get a fee but we will save on his salary. I got the impression from a report in the papers that he was fed up with the teams attitude being questioned because he believes they are better than last season’s team.

For all he is integral to us now, I would be disappointed if he were our lead 13 next year. We need to be better than that - that's not a sleight on him, just on eye on our future progress.

If Cas want him now, pay up. If they want him next year, then that surely is a lack of ambition on their part.
