As for the pair of them, they're going to hit a reality bump when George hits his teens and all the talk is about who is Queen will be and they'll be royal nobodies. People used to care about Andy and Fergie, until William grew up.

No one into sport will care about rugby league just because Harry has a photo-op every four years. But there are many high profile sports people who speak very highly of rugby league and would be happy to big it up. Tony Adams. Roy Keane. Ryan Giggs. Wayne Rooney. A fair few boxers.

Regardless of what you think of him/his relationships etc it’s not a positive story for the game unless we can replace him with someone of a similar profile, which will be a real challenge.

I don't think he was ever RL material, he's clearly shown in the past where his loyalties lie.
I used to think that of the two, him rather than William, was closest to the people. I was wrong, for me William is that person.
Harry could have gone on to a great relationship with the British public, especially the younger end, but he's chosen to turn his back on that and build his future elsewhere.
I hold no grudges but I think it right that he was stripped of all his military titles, and I don't know how this works, but does he retain the title of 'Prince?' Surely that can't be right if he's dumped his royal duties and his country to live elsewhere?
