It’s the way to go assuming the money is there. We have been extreme quiet on the transfer front I must admit. With CK, BJB, Naverette, Brough, Gigot and Kirmo off the books there must be enough for at least one or two new signings even if we don’t replace them all.

I more than anyone badly think we need a prop but wouldnt want to sign one for the sake of it it ala trout who isnt good enough.

I’d rather have kept Annakin than sign Trout. I’m sure there are other options. I was impressed with Kilner. Maybe Holroyd from Leeds on loan as another option too?

I used to work with Ben Kilner’s dad, all big units!

Prior is a second/prop so he’s no different to Tanginoa.

Fair enough, I’ve only seen him play loose for Leeds and prop at Cronulla when he was there. That was only for one season though. Kilner would be a good option on loan though. Better than Trout I reckon. Shame we didn’t look at Jack Teanby. I’ve been impressed with Garratt at Dewsbury too when I’ve seen him play on the odd occasion.

London just announced signing of Navarette...hopefully that's a key domino to fall that leads to Battye being sold to Trinity.

Battye and free agent Tom Olbison would probably be decent prop signings..
