| Quote alegend="alegend"Can not see us getting a win at Wires think they will have a lot stronger team out than they did against Salford. Price would also be eyeing up the talent we have got in case we go down.If we do drop it as got to be the best squad of players ever to be in a team that gets relegated'"
Your last few lines says it all to me this season ,even barring a run of injuries we have underperformed massively .Im positive we will avoid the dreaded drop, but as a club we need to leave no stone unturned as the reason for this and take measures to ensure our continued survival .Funny that only a few months ago I was hoping for a good cup run and now all I’m hoping for is for us to be in super league next season.I know we’ve had shocking luck with injuries but there are more fundamental reasons why week in week out we look like a team that’s just been put together .Against Wigan we had a team on the park that on paper should have blown Wigan away after playing such free flowing rugby at HKR ,but for me the spark is just not there. For me Its like getting a Porsche and running it on paraffin watching wakey at the minute .

| Don't understand how anyone can have expected us to have beaten Wigan (form team of the league) easily.

I don't think many expected it until into the 2nd half of the actually game. It was then ours to throw away. We obliged.

To say we have the strongest squad in decades and IMHO that wigan squad couldn’t lace the boots of by gone Wigan teams yet are second in the table it doesn’t look well to me about the inconsistency’s of the teams below I’m afraid to say

You say it yourself.
Wigan are second. Even with a full team no one was predicting that for us.
They had their full strength back line playing 6 of which are internationals.
We had one player who had played 1 game against France.

The fundamental reason for our season has been the unbelievable injury run. I can't understand how anyone could say anything else when you list them. And now tupou gone for the last two matches. No coach could defy that with a squad like ours. However, I will concede the CC has made a fundamental error of judgement in not at least giving Hampshire a crack at 7, given Brough"s pretty poor displays. I would definitely play Hampshire there at Warrington. Brough had another pretty indifferent game v Wigan. He looks that little bit slower in thought and deed and his legs ain't what they used to be. Even the kicking game is off.
Warrington is a game we stand a small chance in and I see little to lose in seeing if Hampshire s speed there improves us.... before what might be million pound #3

Think that is a little unfair on those 2.
Crowther's defence has been excellent and assuming that Arrundel plays centre, I dont think he's had any defensive issues there at all

| Brough has form against us and always seems to pull a performance out of the bag. As a Wire fan, regardless of his performances this season, i'd be glad to see him sat in the stands.
Safe trip to those braving the M62 on Friday.

| Absolute must win game for the Wire on Friday. We desperately need a good home performance to back up the CC win and keep us in the top 3.
We have our players back after a well deserved rest, but I don't think Austin will play and his stand in, Matty Smith has been very poor in his games for us..
I bet you score first though

Charlie the writing was on the wall when we fell twice to London that there were problems in the way players were prepared for games .
Yes I agree that we have been hammered by injuries to some of our best players this season ,but at some clubs this gives the green light to others to cement a place .All our fringe players when given a chance have played with heart and spirit but still get overlooked in favour of players either out of position or out of form .Im no coach but it doesn’t take one to realise that things have been wrong on the field for months .Hopefully we can put this season to bed and move on, and with the comings and goings it’s enough to put that spirit and fight back in us for next season
