Just a thought, if anyone went to the theater to watch " They walked on water" quite a lot of trin fans did, the song chorus cry was ;- come on without, come on with, you'll not see nothing like the mighty Trin ! However this is quite old now, using a song Mighty Quin - a Manfred Man song !

Original chants also aren't that imaginative. For example, "Wigan! Wigan! Wigan!"

"Come ALL, without, come ALL within".

A great song we should be using to better effect.

I've been thinking about this for a while and thought if it's for Big Dave how about using Waltzing Matilda as a guide tune? I was thinking along the lines of " Waltzing Fifita Waltzing Fifita, he'll go waltzing through you with ease, don't ever mess with Fifita he's the prop with all the Bop he'll go waltzing through you with ease"
Not great I know but it works OK I think, it's a traditional song originating way back in the 1890's, lots of people are familiar with it but if you're not there are a few versions to listen to on Youtube.

I think they tried it a few years ago but it’s a fairly old obscure song. What I’d do is if we get a cup run ie to the final, do it as a team recording changing the words. I’m sure we could record it very cheaply these days and it may even be out of copyright.

Play it over the tannoy pre game and after a victory and it will take off. It’s a lot to expect a song many are unfamiliar with and has no actual word as such and is relatively complex to take off without a little help. In no Simon Cowell but that’s how I see it.

I remember it being tried a bit when I were a lad in the late 70s, but it was a Fev song then because of the late great Steve Quinn.

I knew Manfred Mann's version but I didn't realise it was a Bob Dylan song.

Got to admit that works well.

Mighty Quin song came out late sixties before the player Steve Quin played, they were singing it at WAKEY ground well before Steve Quin, I was there with the lads under the old wood score board & behind those goal

However my favourite was when chanting of champions was done/carried out by all supporters as we were champions then & went on to be double champions consecutively ! But what price memories, I wou!d love to see us win something again in my life time, up the Trin !
