I can’t see it being any other tbh, on form at least it picks itself.

I think Arona and King are both capable of covering front or back row so this looks to give us the most options.

The other option would be to start Wood at hooker and add another forward, given that Jordan can probably cover a spell at hooker if required?

A bit unsure on how CC will go especially on the bench and maybe the starting back row but anyway most pick themselves, mainly FB, and the back row that you can go a few ways.

Looks good to me, although I would have either Crowther or Batchelor on the bench (probably Batchelor) to start.
His extra pace may be better against a tiring defence ? Arona to start for me.

I don't like using King or Arona as a regular prop. I'd rather they are 13 and then as cover if needed.

Agree with having 2 out and out Props on the bench and also agree I'd only use Arona there in an emergency but King practically played prop all season off the bench for Wire, so I wouldn't be too bothered about using him there. For me, it comes down to Huby and what shape and fitness levels he's at - if CC thinks he's ready he plays IMO, then king can be used in the back row.

I'm with you here Shifty lad, his only selection headache for me is 2nd row.

Which one of Hampshire or Jowitt do you not think is in the frame for the FB spot then? I think both have gone really well in pre season for me that will be a bit of a headache for CC, think he will start with Rocky.

Reading what I typed back I'm not sure I worded or punctuated it the best but I'll try again - mainly FB and the back row you can go a few ways. I've gone like you with Hampshire just for his extra attacking threat and he's decent in defense as well but no doubt Jowitt has gone well in Preseason.

It's one or tuther there, as a fan you could flip a coin tbh there's not a lot between them to pick one unless you have a personal favourite, where as with the second row excluding Arona and King he's still got a good half a dozen to select 3 from.
