| Quote homme vaste="homme vaste"Sorry but having watched the game last night BM was absolutely spot on with his comments. The way Catalan players were playing up towards the end, lying on the floor pretending to be injured was nothing short of disgusting and there is no place for it in Rugby league.'"
Maybe I misinterpreted what he was saying then as I really don't like the claiming injury thing that is starting to creep in. Richardson did it a couple of times in previous games but looks to have stopped that now.
It's hard for the refs to stamp it out as you can't risk a player actually being injured but I think it is something that disciplinary and ultimately the coaches of the teams need to sort out.
Taking a knee when you have a drop out after a lot of pressure is mildly irritating but we do that too. Less worried about that. It is the actual rubbing your head and claiming a squeeze/chicken wing thing that get's me. If you are hurt stay down. If not, get on with the game.

And had Leeds won it would have given you the opportunity to go 6 points clear of the bottom 4 ? We have a few players back this week so wouldn't count on it been quite as easy as last time. Should/when we beat you on Sunday I am sure your outlook of last nights result will be a lot different.

Maybe, but I'm confident in my statement.
There is a possibility that we'll lose to Widnes. It's not like we have a great record against you.
But equally you are at the bottom of the league for a reason and we should be looking to beat you and move up, not worry about losing and getting dragged back to the middle 8s.

| There is no room in our game for this feigning injury crap.
The game is now built on momentum, if we're gonna stop the game every time somebody stays down after a tackle, players are gonna be (probably already are) coached to do just that, at times when they're feeling the heat.
If somebody stays down after a legal tackle, provided its in back play, get the medics on but do not stop play, we'll soon see who's genuinely injured when the team has to play on a man down.

| Plenty of room in Russia for those who want to feign injury and indulge in outside toilet tactics.

| The solutions are simple:
1. The game carries on unless the player is in the way, as has always been the case. The physio and doctor can enter the field of play now.
2. The ref does not penalise a player, even if there has been an actual infringement, if there is a belief that the other player has exaggerated the effect of the infringement. Cut out this collapsing to the floor when someone brushes past, and the other nonsense.
3. The video ref can only rule on matters of fact, not judgement. Foot in touch, offside or grounding are observable matters of fact. Obstruction and foul play are matters of judgement, and leave those to the official given the job of making the judgements.

Correct...When they were under the pump in the final couple of minutes, Chris Hill decided they needed a breather so sat down right in front of their sticks for around a minute while Kendall just stood over him. After he got his breath back and ruined our momentum, he then made the next two consecutive tackles
I have always thought Wire to be a decent, fair team who play by the rules but that was just blatant cheating !!

Did you never see Nick Scruton doing exactly that for us?

| Now that I think about it, we could learn something from football here.
If a player goes down and requires play to be stopped, they must leave the field with the physio and if able come back on in the next break in play.
It would get rid of those time wasting on the line as they'd be a man down after they got their team back together.
Would waste time though
