| I thought it a reasonable attendance for a Sky game on a freezing friday against unfasionable opposition - hardly a draw card.
If we keep winning and as the weather warms up we'll see. It would help greatly though if the players would actually perform on the 'expectation games'. It seems that whenever we have the oppurtunity to advertise ourselves we turn in a poor showing, CCup last year, Leeds at home the year before, it's a real Trinity thing and has been for years.
I know we won some cracking games last year especially in the super 8's but I honestly think some fans make their minds up ealier in the season and nothing seems to sway them after that - might be wrong just how I see it.
Hudds may be one such game this year, early one to set a marker IMHO.

| 2015 crowd was 3240
2016 crowd was 2500 (also on Sky I think)
I know season ticket holders who stayed at home on Friday night as they didn't fancy the weather. Salford didn't bring many so I'm not concerned really. Sky hits our crowds, just the way it is.

One would hope, perhaps optimistically, that over a season it could have a positive effect; if we win on Sky with low attendance, maybe some stayaways will turn up to the next home game, hoping to see more of the same? Also can't forget the positive benefit to sponsors - I'm sure they're happy seeing their brand on TV for 80 minutes.

| Went for a pint or two after the game. Walked into the local pub and 6 different people as how WE had gone on.
There is obviously massive latent support around the City but getting them off their beer soaked harris and down to the ground is another matter.

| The future is corporate, we need a facility where we can entertain more people in corporate, its full every match, they spend money. The so called stay away fans are exactly that, stay away, rather be in the pub, moan about the cost of everything.

You may be right and there is no doubt that corporate supporters put more into the club but, as with most things, it's about maximising the fan numbers across the board from kids, pensioners, standing, seating etc, etc.
It's the one area that Glover seemed pretty good at, although some of the attendances seemed overstated but, if we could get the "feel good factor" back it will help drive numbers up and certainly, a few more "W's" will help.

| Don't expect gates to increase next home game Huddersfield Friday sky game. They'll bring less than Salford!

Big part of it. Our hospitality sells very well I believe, taking all that to the next level is critical as it snowballs in to big sponsorship revenue.

| What are the gates on a Thursday and Friday compared to Sunday afternoon. I have 2 others that would come to Sunday games but unfortunately can't make the evening games. On a personal note I prefer Sundays but just have to plan things more for weekday evening games.

Think you're being a bit too optimistic there, Wollo...I reckon there was only about 60-70 Salford fans there.
