Can you offer anything to convince these fans that he is not the enemy?

Several weeks ago a new pitch was supposedly being laid at Belle Vue. Would seem a waste of time/money if we weren't going to be playing there.

Why would I know what his idea is?

What do you mean some on here, he is the enemy - he wants to develop BV and if he has to build a stadium he wants us to pay an extortionate rate for the privilege. In what way is that positive or friendly??

If I am being honest Wayne, I can't. It is just a hunch I have.

What I will say though is when he bought the ground, he was hoping to be able to give the stadium a 're vamp as part of his plans.

He has often tweeted things concerning the club too, and has a pinned tweet of the plans of the stadium on his Twitter wall. Added to this, if you look on his company website, you will also see the stadium plans in there.

Personally, if he had no intentions of re vamping the ground, then I don't think he would have put in the time and effort in adding it to the company page.

Some people do make money out of dodgy dealings, and am a do it out of sheer hard work, take the likes of Branson and Sugar who started with nothing. I think reading about Manni, it is a similar situation, but he has taken on a small family business and grew it.

Maybe, just maybe, the extortionate rates were inflated by lazy journalism.

That wouldn't be the first time it had happened regarding this if I recall.

Also, maybe, since the deadline of all this, there could well have been a lot of negotiations taking place, hence as to why it's all gone a bit quiet.

I do believe in Michael in the sense that he wouldn't just take any deal that has been offered, without the clubs best interests at heart.

Also, if other comments are true, why spend money on the pitch and lights, if we're gone in a week and a half. It's unlikely the lights would be used Boxing Day.

Well if you want to believe these snakes you carry on. Personally I'd rather not be fooled again.

He's the enemy until his actions prove otherwise and I see absolutely no evidence to suggest that's about to happen.

We are all believing want we hear , we did it years ago with Pearman . I will believe nothing until it is confirmed by M C too many false dawns already .

I know exactly what your saying about all the false dawns we have had over the years.

Not all successful businessmen though, are the same, tarred with the same brush.

I am going to remain optimistic that it will happen, but airing on cautiously optimistic.

A couple of weeks ago, I actually replied to one of his tweets, and he replied to it pretty much straight away. Can't remember exactly what he said but it was something like "watch this space" with a stadium emoji and thumbs up. I don't know the bloke personally and he could have ignored it or at the most, liked it, but to take time out and comment doesn't seem the actions of someone who isn't interested in our plight.

Pub rumours last night were that it will be in the Wakefield Express today that Belle Vue will be our home for 2018. Not seen or heard anything else.

If Belle Vue is back on then whatever the deal is I am certain Mr Hussains company will make sure its they that benefit the most. They are using the club to get what they want, exactly in the same way that Yorkcourt have used the club.

He would not lift a finger to help the club unless there is something in it for himself. If we also get some benefit from this all well and good. However if we are left with a stadium upgrade that we can't afford to play in, we will be no better off than we are right now.
